The condo is well situated but the resort was not functioning during the summer, so we had to go farther afield for provisions.
The decor was dated but pleasant enough. We asked for the 'linen package' for an extra $80, as we were travelling from the UK. This was acceptable but oddly gave us no tea towels, so we had to dry the dishes with hand towels! A dishwasher was provided but no powder, which we though a bit mean. There was no washing machine.
The owner asked for a $150 deposit and was at pains to point out that if, after our stay, his cleaning team had more than 1 hour of cleaning to do, he would withhold some or all of that deposit. At the end of our stay we made sure the condo was immaculate. We cleaned the bathrooms, and the kitchen, wiped out the fridge, stripped the beds and left the sheets and towels in a pile together in the lobby. We also hoovered, tidied the pile of papers on the coffee table and plumped the cushions. Even so, $45 of our deposit was withheld. Needless to say we were furious and felt we had been mistreated. So be warned, take time stamped photos on your departure: I wish we had.
Mount Snow itself was, of course, just beautiful and the views from the summit were breathtaking.
