First, I want to thank Pat Lauer for helping us. Also, the owners communicated well during the deposit and return-of-deposit processes.
Our group consisted of two couples, a couple with a child, and two guys without their wives. We stayed in the master suite with the tub. The rooms were insulated well enough that we were able to run the jets and watch TV, at a moderate level, and the couple in the room adjacent to us didn't complain about noise. We found the bed to sleep very well.
The couple with a child took one of the side suites so their son slept on the fold-out sleeper. The two guys took the other suite. The main kitchen was a bit small for a large group, but ultimately worked fine as the others kept much of their personal food in the two other kitchens included with the suites.
A feature we greatly enjoyed was the adult swim/relaxation area. It included a steam room, jacuzzi, sauna, and a warm pool with a bench underneath waterfalls that provided an excellent massage. We also enjoyed the family pool area while playing with our junior friend.
The resort itself was very large but not planned very well. Once you figure out where things are you'll move around nicely. A number of employees told us the owned-units, were not part of the original plan which creates some of the confusing routes within the resort. The ski and boot valet is great and the fact that they are separated helps keep the crowds minimized. All of us, espescially the ladies in our group, truly enjoyed not having to haul equipment to and from the room, shuttle, or gondola.
You'll find the transportation services to other resorts very helpful, but realize one of the design flaws of the resort as you clammer through one of their restaurants (which did prepare very good food) in all your ski garb to get to the shuttle. Although they occasionally arrived more quickly, just plan on 20-30 minutes for shuttle pick-up and you'll find them to be friendly and efficient.
For most of our group, this was their first trip to Utah and we had a unanimous vote to return. The size of our group varies each year, but this location will definitely be at the top of our list for return visits.
The only negative comment relates to the upper windows in our room. They need electric shades so you can sleep-in without being awakened by sunlight.
And finally, be sure to follow their instructions at check-in. I forgot to do so and caused a delay.
Enjoy your stay.
