The Whitefish chain of lakes is one of the top vacation areas in Minnesota. Relax in a 2006 custom built luxury home with lodge inspired decor situated on Lower Whitefish Lake, with demand south facing views. Enjoy swimming off the dock in the sandy bottom lake. The property is situated on a peninsula. Spacious interior (3850 fsf) includes 4 bedrooms, loft with built-in beds, 4 bathrooms, gourmet kitchen with Sub-zero and Wolf appliances, formal dining room, 2 stone fireplaces, vaulted & beamed ceilings, and designer selected furnishings. Property includes a dock with a boat lift and a sea doo lift. The grounds are fully landscaped including a charming lakeside patio & cobblestone paths. Enjoy a bonfire in the lakeside fire pit. Area Attractions: Area activities abound including golf, shopping, Brainerd International Raceway (BIR), horseback riding, boating, fishing, bird watching, mini-golf, amusement parks, restaurants, night life, cross country skiing, hiking, and snowmobile trails.

Lake Information: Whitefish, at 7,370 acres is the third largest lake in the Brainerd management area and is part of the 14,000 acre Whitefish chain of lakes. The maximum depth is 138 feet. There are numerous public access points on the lake. Across the street is Big trout lake, a 1342 acre lake located at the City of Manhattan Beach. It is part of the Whitefish chain of lakes. Maximum water depth is 128 feet and about 27% of the surface area is 15 feet deep of less. It is one of two lakes in the Brainerd management area managed for lake trout. Lake trout have been stocked regularly since 1979.

The Whitefish Chain of Lakes is abundant in many species including blue gills, walleye, pike, and bass.

Ski:

There are over 250 miles of groomed and ungroomed cross country ski trails in the area, some even lighted! There are trails for the beginner to expert.

Golf:

With over 450 holes of golf within 30 miles of the Whitefish Chain of Lakes Area, the area was ranked one of the top golf destinations in the world by Golf Digest.

No other golf destination offers the wonderful blend of natural beauty and spectacular courses. Some of the finest courses, created by some of the world's greatest course designers, are available for your enjoyment. Courses range from family-friendly par-three courses up to the Arnold Palmer or Robert Trent Jones designer courses, so there is a course for all abilities and budgets.

This vacation rental home was more than we ever expected. The rental home had everything you needed and more. In the future we will be planning to come back.

A Dream Lake Home!!

The home is stunning as you approach the driveway. Literally breathtaking. The pictures do not do it justice. What a great place to relax with your family and/or friends. My wife loved the gourmet kitchen. The place has incredible woodwork throughout, and is beautifully decorated. The only thing this home lacks is a good A/V sytem. The T.V. is awkwardly placed in the living room (hard to see from half of the room), and if you like music as much as we do then you should bring a Sound Dock with you. We spent our Thanksgiving lounging by the fireplace, playing board games, taking long walks in the quiet neighborhood, and of course eating more then we should have :-). We also spent a lot of time outside by the bonfire, and playing yard games with the kids. I can't wait to experience this place in the summer. We love the water, and this home has it all. Thank you so much for the opportunity to experience this one of a kind home!

Awesome Summer Vacation

Thank you so much for opening up your home to us for our Summer Vacation. We have rented alot of vacation homes and yours was the best by far. The house is so beautiful but yet so comfortable and homey. It was so great every night to sit out at the Fire pit and be so close to the Lake. We did lots of stuff, we fished almost every day and caught so many fish. We found a super spot on Trout Lake where we just constantly pulled them in. We tried lots of other places but we found the fishing hole. There was so much to do, from the fishing, to putt putt, to even going to the Casino in Walker twice. That was so much fun. My daughters boyfriend on the second trip to the Casino won a jackpot of $1660 on a slot machine, it was awesome. The beds were so comfortable, I just can't tell you how much fun we had for our 10 days. We will be back!!!!!

We stayed here in January and it was the perfect getaway from the Cities. The house is absolutely stunning. Wonderfully constructed and every room is beautiful. The view out of the living room windows to the lake with a fire roaring in the large fireplace was about as perfect as we could have imagined. Comfortable for 10 people with plenty of bathroom and bed space. Only wish we could have stayed longer.
