This luxury, ski house is set on 26 acres of fields and woods with 360 deg. mountain views. The house is at the end of a long private drive at the end of a cul-de-sac. There are excellent views of the Windham Mountain ski slopes. Our two resident former racing thoroughbreds will give you a warm welcome if you decide to walk down the private road to the stable. Or you can head back in the woods to find the babbling brook at the back of the property (bring a compass). The house is designed for entertaining. Lots of beds, a large kitchen and dining room, two living rooms (adults upstairs... kids downstairs...), a large deck and a 2 car garage. In the downstairs living room there is a pool table and darts and a cozy wood burning stove to keep you warm. In the upstairs living room there is a bar area and a twenty foot tall stone fireplace (both of which will keep you warm). Heated garage is excellent for ski, board and boot storage. An excellent home with excellent attributes.

Excellent Getaway

We had a group of 16 here for the weekend. It was a "Girl's Weekend" getaway. The house was fantastic. A great house for entertaining a large group or just hanging out. We made Christmas cookies in the kitchen without being on top of each other. There were plenty of beds for all of us. The property was beautiful. The horses down at the stable were great. We fed them carrots even though I don't think we were supposed to and took pictures. Later that afternoon we went to the local "small" vineyard (very nice time) and went to the local Brew Pub for dinner. A great time overall and we will be back for a ski weekend in the spring.
Owner's Response: We aim to please. The house is a great place for a Girl's Weekend or even a Guy's Weekend. Ski Weekends, Hiking Weekends, Leaf Peepers, Festival Goers, Golfers, come on up and enjoy the beautiful Catskills. It's closer than you think...

Great house, great price, great time!

I can't say enough about how great this house is. The pictures don't even do it justice. It is spacious and kept up very nicely. We were a group of 16 and between the upstairs living room and large kitchen, and the downstairs game room we never felt on top of each other. We were even able to eat meals together in the kitchen. At first I was hesitant about the price of the security deposit, but after seeing the house I'm surprised that it wasn't even higher. We kept up our end of the contract and received our deposit back in full. The owners were great to work with too, which is always a plus. Overall it was a great weekend for a great price and I'm hoping to go back next year.
