The Irish Hills is Michigan's resort center located about 70 miles west of Detroit and is home to Michigan International Speedway (MIS). The cottage is located about 10 miles from the track. Wamplers Lake is an 'All Sports' lake offering swimming, boating, fishing or just relaxing on the water. Brooklyn is the nearest town about 8 miles away and offers shopping, dining and fast food. The cottage is located on the north shore of Wamplers Lake. No streets or roads to cross. Walk out the front door and into the water of this 'All Sports' 800 acre lake. Bring your boat or personal water craft. A boat launch is located at Walter J. Hayes State Park.
