This 1920's Colonial double corner lot home is located on Chicago's Northside neighborhood of Rogers Park. Immediately to the north of Rogers Park is Evanston, home of Northwestern University (minutes away) and a wonderful college town with restaurants and shops to visit. Downtown Evanston is approximately 4 miles north and is easily reached by car or train. 2 blocks from the home is the downtown commuter train METRA. You can take a train downtown in less than 20 minutes! 5 blocks from our home is the Chicago subway El stop which goes downtown also.

There is a small park across street (Matanky Park), ideal for small children and 2 Blocks away to golf, batting cages, & ice skating and skate park (Warren Park - one of the largest parks in the city). You can walk 2 blocks to the Metra commuter train or 6 blocks to the subway from our home. You can walk to some restaurants (Baker's Square, Heartland Cafe Diner, Ice Cream Shop) and shops within 1 mile. This is a quiet residential neighborhood and the restaurants we go to in Evanston and Andersonville are a 10 minute drive to the north or south.

Notes: The first floor has a living room (25' x 14'), dining room (14' x 14'), kitchen (14' x 14') and den (16' x 9'). This main level has hardwood floors throughout and a wood burning fireplace. The 3 bedrooms plus office upstairs are carpeted with gray Berber carpet. Dual zone Heating and Air Conditioning. Downstairs has a den, laundry, 4th bedroom and full bathroom. The home has a large rear yard and deck with a gas BBQ directly off kitchen. There is a computer in the office with high-speed internet access. Our family has lived in this neighborhood since the 1940's and we would be proud to share our home and/or tell you about how this location might serve your needs for your visit to Chicago.
