Wonderfully secluded casita situated in the hear of Old Town.Nice and quiet and great for pets. The park was right across the street so we could walk our dog s four times a day.Having laundry acess made it quite convenient. The owner was available but was hands off.The kitchen was small but functional. The remodeled bathroom was quite nice but a few more shelves for accessories would have been nice. Overall,a GREAT experience! In fact we are moving to New Mexico because of the mild weather and the experiences we encountered.

My wife and I spent a delightful week in early June in this perfectly located casita "on the park". Our vacation lifestyle is centered on a mix of touring, dining, and relaxing and our accommodations allowed us to blend all three. The kitchen is certainly adequate for full meals but we were happy to make our breakfasts, and a few lunches - and there's plenty of fun take-out nearby. Old Town and 3 great museums are a stroll away and the interstate is just a few minutes drive. We caught a few rays on the patio but by noon time in June, it's time to find some AC! This is not for folks looking for the Four Seasons but it is a super value that should satisfy any traveler who likes a nice bed and breakfast and is not expecting terry robes in the closet!

Charming Little Casita - Very Convenient

I rented the Casita for a month from mid-November to mid-December 2010 and really enjoyed my stay there. Although I've seen Church St. Cafe mentioned on a couple of reviews there are lots of really good options for food within walking distance including Monroe's, Garcia's Kitchen, Duran's Pharmacy (they have a small restaurant in the back), Cucina Azul (slightly more upscale), and the Little Red Hamburger Hut (regular burgers are available but their specialty is made with local red chile - be prepared if you try it, they are spicy delicious!). Of course, it's got a full kitchen and most of the utensils you need to cook up your own meals if you like.

As noted, Old Town is a stone's throw away and Camino Real Imports on Rio Grande is a great place to get good deals on Mexican glassware, rugs, tin mirrors, furniture, and talavera pottery so shopping opportunities are ample as well.

The landlord was friendly, hands off, and worked with me to allow my dogs to stay - a necessity in my case. Great little courtyard, plenty of parking, park and museums are across the street, and because it sits behind another house, it is very private. All in all, I'd highly recommend it for vacation or longer term rental.

Very nice place to stay

This house is quiet, clean, and very comfortable. It has everything you need to make you feel at home. You can walk to Albuquerque's top visited sites. From Historic Old Town to three museums all with in minutes from your front door. If you don't have a car your minutes from a bus stop that will take you anywhere you want to go.
My friend was in town from Monterey California and was never bored on the days I had to work. So if you're coming or have friends coming to Albuquerque you won't be disappointed staying at this adobe home.

Our family spent a wonderful time in ABQ using this as our base. The kitchen is fully equipped, bathroom is very clean. The interior is very nicely done. There is plenty of parking.

The location was perfect for our 4-year-old. A great park with an awesome playground is right out front, the Explora museum is on the other side of the park. He loved both, we were in and out of Explora multiple times as we have membership at our local science museum. I was going to meetings at both the convention center and Hotel Albuquerque, the latter is in walking distance; overall the home is in a very convenient location with easy access to downtown and the interstates.

The owner is very friendly and responsive to email and phone calls.

We enjoyed margaritas and dinner at Church Street Cafe in Old Town, pretty much any meal was great at Flying Star Cafe, and enjoyed exploring mutliple other wonderful restaurants in ABQ.
