Lovely chalet located in Roxbury Run, a vacation home community close to Margaretville, about a 2 - 2.5 hour drive from New York City. Surrounded by 4 acres of forested land this property is quiet and private. Very large deck with a gorgeous view of the surrounding hills. The property features new appliances, gas grill, flat screen HDTV with DVD player, surround sound music system and Nintendo Wii. Sleeps 6 very comfortably in queen sized beds and has a pull out couch in the main loving room. Fireplace with plenty of wood to cozy up to on winter nights after a nice day skiing. Separate dining area with a very large, rustic dining room table seats 8 - 12 guests comfortably. Winter Activities: Both Belleayre (10 iminute drive) and Platekill ski resorts (20 minute drive) are close by. Summer: Tennis courts and swimming pool are steps down the road. Bellyeare hosts live theater

We had a wonderful time at the house. Highly recommended for families or friends who just want to get away from city life. Very quiet and peaceful. House is clean and well stocked. Owners are nice and responsive. Can't wait to go back! Thanks!

Relaxed, Romantic Getaway

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a recent fall weekend, and had the most perfect time. The house is gorgeous—clean, renovated, with cute furniture and new electronics. And it's secluded (on a mountain with an awesome view, lots of trees and stars, and a bubbling stream), so you really feel like you're getting away from it all. After just the first night, I'd totally shed any stress from work and city life.

It stormed our first day there, but even so we had fun relaxing—playing Wii, watching movies, reading, cooking dinner. The next day was beautiful and we did a terrific hike nearby.

I highly recommend this property and can't wait to go back!

Owners couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating, and the place is great. The local towns/villages/etc... are close and offer just what you need. It's the perfect weekend away, wish we had more time to spend there.
