The ground floor of this magnificent 1899 Victorian is a spacious studio. Bursting with amenities, this studio begs to pamper the independent traveler or couple. With a plush queen-sized bed and separate sleeper sofa, the studio sleeps up to 3.
Bay windows give both plenty of natural light and privacy while overlooking a small front garden. In addition to a spacious and luxurious bathroom with classic claw foot tub, the studio is fully loaded with a new washer, dryer, dishwasher, toaster, microwave and satellite television. Wi-fi is also included.
Ideal for gourmands, the kitchen is fully loaded with a six-burner gas range & stove, a temperature-controlled wine cooler, and a new refrigerator. Bring back fresh produce from any of the many local farmers' markets, and share a meal with friends to experience another of San Francisco's treasures -- its palette.
At the heart of the City, you're steps from Dolores Park, surrounded by classic San Francisco architecture, the last of the independent theaters, local artists, some of the best food in the USA, and the easiest place to catch a bus, train or taxi in SF.
The Studio and Upper Flat have their own separate and private exterior entrances.

I would highly recommend this lovely studio to anyone who would prefer a neighborhood experience as compared to staying in a hotel. There are restaurants and grocery stores within close proximity to the studio. Bi-Rite Market was a great experience for this Midwesterner who is not used to having a specialty market right in the neighborhood. A short walk also brings you to Defina, a fine restaurant. Spent 4 nights in the studio and found it to be a good location from which to travel from to see the sights in San Francisco. Terrific public transportation with the J line muni metro just steps from your front door. You can get just about anywhere in the city you want to go. It was nice in the evening to walk around both the castro and the mission districts. The studio itself has everything you would want. Comfortable bed. Free wi-fi. High end appliances should you decide to stay in and cook dinner. It was also nice to have a washer and dryer in the studio as this was the second leg of a 10 day trip. If i return to San Francisco I will definitely stay here again.
This studio is an amazing gem!
We stayed here on our holiday from Aussy and were mightily impressed!
The studio is beautifully appointed, clean and well maintained!
Everything you need is included and the owner was an absolute delight to deal with!
Cannot fault the overall experience!
To top it all off it's close to transport, the Castro etc and while staying here you immediately feel like a local!

We stayed at the studio for two weeks. The listing description was accurate regarding the location. The photos refleced the rental's appearance. The property was clean and well maintained. Furnished with top rated appliances. When we arrived, Navin was there to great us. He took the time to explain how the appliances worked and gave us information on the whereabouts.
Navin was very helpful in answering my many many e-mails and also by sending me different links: regarding transportation and restaurants nearby. Easy access to the Muni. Close to Dolores Park. Walking distance to great restaurants: Farina and Delfina on 18th Street. You can get your croissants at Tartine on 18th and Guerrero. There is a Specialty Food Store named Bi-Rite on 18th where you can buy fresh produce or prepared food with fresh ingredients. We also discovered A.G. Ferrari where you can buy imported food such as wine, olive oil, pasta, balsamic vinegar, cheese, specialty meats and ready made food.
The only negative point I have is regarding the noise at night on the street. Our house is located in a very residential area and we found it a little bit difficult at the beginning to get use to the noise at night, specially on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights. Not everyone will have the same opinion. This is the only reason I am not certain if I should give it a 5 Stars or 4 Stars...
We loved the place so much and had such a great time. We highly recommend this place and finally would give it a 5 Stars.
We just stayed in the studio for a whole week and frankly, it wasn't long enough! Navin's studio is beautifully appointed - everything from the mattress to the stove is top quality. Plenty of transportation nearby, making the studio a perfect base for exploring San Francisco. Wonderful restaurants and cafes (don't miss Tartine!) are within easy walking distance. Navin is a fantastic host should you have any questions or need insider tips on San Francisco. We can't recommend this flat highly enough. We'll be back!
We rented both upper and lower levels for our families to stay on our wedding week. Both levels were beautifully furnished with many caring details and excellence accommodations. Our families from Canada, Hong Kong, and Sacramento had a wonderful stay and would still talked about it till today! The six-burner stove was especially impressive. We had many memorable meals and gatherings in the house! High end appliances on both levels, the wine cooler fridges were such a nice touch. Navin is a very sweet guy and so pleasant to work with. We highly recommend this place and will definitely revisit for future stays! Thank you Navin~
