Home:
The studio is the garden level of a 120 year old Victorian with it's own unique history. Built as 4 homes for a carpenter, his wife and his 3 grown children with money he earned as Gold Rush era merchant, its later occupants exemplified the history and character of San Francisco. It has been a segregated home in the 30's, a bordello in the 40's and 50's, a Zen Buddhist commune in the 60's and 70's.
Your Hosts:
Your hosts are Guy and Trey and their beautiful daughter Emma (and soon another adopted daughter). Trey is from Virginia and is a molecular biologist. He owns a small biotech firm and enjoys cooking, gardening, reading, traveling and knitting. Guy is from Utah and is a teacher of English as a Second Language and enjoys traveling, reading, biking, theatre, movies and more. Emma is 6 years old and enjoys art, her violin, her friends, reading and her pets. Our family also includes an African Grey parrot and two pet rodents :). They have traveled around the world including South America, Asia, Europe and Africa. They have lived in Germany (all three of us), Korea (Trey), Sweden (Guy) and Nigeria (Guy). Guy speaks Swedish (well) and some German and Trey speaks Korean (well) and some German.
