About Rich

We (Rich and Joanie ) lived in California and vacationed at the Jersey Shore for many years, then decided to live here and provide a rental home for others. It's important to us to provide for others what we looked for ourselves in a vacation rental.

Rich purchased this house in 2002
Why Rich chose Point Pleasant Beach

Point Pleasant Beach is a year-round community that is very family oriented. It is a very safe beach community in which we raised our own daughter. Oue community, the Boardwalk and this rental are fully functional after Hurricane Sandy -- in fact, we're better!!

What makes this house unique

Just far enough from the beach (in a residential neighborhood) to avoid the noise and chaos of the Boardwalk rides, yet close enough to roll out of bed in the morning and be walking on the beach in 5 minutes!

$500 Security Deposit due with signed lease, and returned within 24 hours after damage-free check-out. Rent is due at check-in by cash, cashier's check or money order, OR 7 days prior to check-in if you prefer to pay by check (checks must clear banks before check-in).
Fees And Taxes OPTIONAL Cleaning Fee of $195.00 if you choose not to clean yourself.
Email the owner for great "off-season" rates In the fall, winter and spring (after Labor Day and before Memorial Day), rates are based on # of people in your party (1 to 12 people) and # of bedrooms (1 to 5 bdrms) that you want to use. One BDRM for 1 or 2 people is only $110/night -- less than a motel room but you get full use of kitchen, living room, etc.! Other rooms are NOT rented to others

My friends and I spent the weekend at this home. We were 6 adults and 1 5 year old girl. The home was very clean and the accommocations were as described. The property was well maintained and the pool was an added source of fun.

The home is located 2.5 blocks from the beach and boardwalk. The weather this weekend was spectacular and we so enjoyed sitting on the beach and watching the ocean. Our 5 year old had a great time playing in the sand!

We plan to return next year and hopefully, we can stay longer. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a great place to spend time at the Jersey Short.

If you are looking for a rental in Pt. Pleasant, don't pass this one up. The house is beautiful, spacious, clean and the owners are fabulous. The deck, pool and BBQ in the yard were wonderful to enjoy as well as the outdoor shower. Rich and Joanie make it a pleasure to be there and make your stay very enjoyable. A very short walk to the beach and Boardwalk make the location great as well. We will be back !

This was my first experience renting a vacation home at the Jersey Shore and everything turned out perfect. Rich and Joanie were very accommodating and the rental had all the comforts of home. We were 2 families renting the unit, each with young children. It was very clean, spacious, and perfectly located only a short walk from the beach. I would definitely stop searching for a better place if you're looking for a rental with so much room, convenience to the beach PLUS cleanliness. This is the place for you!

We had a wonderful time in this rental. It was clean and had plenty of room for our visitors. It is a short walk from the beach and boardwalk. The owners were very pleasant and did not interfere with our use of the facilities. We recommend this rental.
