It is thoroughly charming and located in a private, wooded community featuring its own lake and nature trail, as well as a private beach on Lake Wallenpaupack. Located 0.5 miles from majestic Lake Wallenpaupack and within a short driving distance from Promised Land State Park and 4 ski areas, it provides you with unlimited recreational activities during all 4 seasons. The area features swimming, boating, fishing, hunting, jet skiing, windsurfing, hiking, mountain biking, skiing and snowmobiling. There is a wonderful zoo and horseback riding nearby. In addition there is fine dining with breathtaking mountain and lake views and numerous antique shops.

Nearby is Promised Land State Park, which features several lakes, numerous hiking trails, hunting, fishing and more.

Great Chalet!!

I had rented the chalet for the weekend on January 2009. My friends screamed and thanked me for getting such a great chalet rental as soon as we walked in the door. It was just beautiful and all the neccessities and More were ready for use. we had a great weekend getaway... Except that it snowed so much and we had to leave on saturday nite cause we were afraid of getting snowed in..(we also got help from someone that the chalet owner gave me the number for just in case we needed help for a snow-in problem, so nice of him:)) Overall great chalet, quiet, had fun in the snow... great balcony... Luv it!! will definitely rent here again for my next vacation or a weekend getaway. Thanks Erik!!
