The Cottage and Guest Nest have been completely refurbished to provide an eclectic mix of antiques, rustic furniture, and contemporary design in two comfortable bedrooms plus a sun room downstairs and a separate petite suite upstairs. Hancock Guest Cottage is centrally located in the Hyde Park Hancock area just minutes from Downtown, the University of Texas, the Medical Center, and the the new Mueller shopping development.

Located in central Austin, it’s the ideal base for exploring town. You can walk to the adjacent shopping center or down the block to regular bus service with easy access to places of interest. There is so much to do in Austin, you will love it. After a day at the lake or exploring town, come home to the tranquility of a BBQ in the garden, or try one of the many fine local restaurants. Very cool, convenient, central neighborhood with lots of character and conveniences--Hyde Park Bar and Grill, Mother’s Cafe, New World Deli, Flight Path Cafe, Asti, Dolce Vita all within a few blocks.
