take supplies with you

This was a lovely and well located condo with great views, nice furniture and amenities. The only thing I would say is that we took a taxi there, and didnt stop and buy supplies before we arrived. It turns out that if you want to use the playa blanca amenities, you have to pay $50/each person per day for all meals and drinks, or you could pay $5/breakfast, $10/lunch, or $35 for dinner and later..meaning all drinks too. Which isnt a bad deal. The food is good there. The restaurants all go by that standard..you cant just get a little fruit plate without a ticket for a meal from the front desk. But there are no supplies in the condo, so you really should stop on the way and get some coffee, milk, breakfast food, snacks, etc, if you want to save some $$ by using the kitchen and such. Theres no grocery store withing a half hour drive. Also, there is no internet connection, wireless or otherwise. But you can go down to the hotel lobby and pay per hour of use down there...I think its $3/half hour, $5/hour to sit and use their or your own computer. Would be much nicer if the condo had been wireless enabled.
The beaches were great- pristine, interesting, great bird shows with them diving for fish, the pools nice, and clean. There were no beach towels in the condo. That would have been nice. But its decorated really lovely. And the patio/terrace is soooo pretty, with wonderful ocean views. We would stay there again, but bring more supplies with us. Plus the guy we rented from gave us the name of a guy to take us to the airport for way cheaper than the hotel taxi, and he was on time and a very good driver, and had a big van. We had luggage, so that was another plus. And he spoke a little English too! Very nice.
