Why The Owner chose Kealakekua Bay
This property is located in the heart of a beautiful canyon and peaceful Kealakekua Bay right out our front door. We are awaken by the bird songs and ocean breezes and we are sung to sleep with gentle surf sounds. All we need is here or not too far up mauka!
What makes this house unique
Our home is located in the quiet village of Napo'opo'o on beautiful Kealakekua Bay, and only ~30 minutes from Kona Keahole Airport(KOA). Kealakekua Bay is a marine conservation area, and an ideal place to enjoy swimming, snorkeling and kayaking. An ancient Hawaiian Heiau (Temple) overlooks Captain Cook Monument and the pristine blue waters where spinner dolphins, sea turtles and whales are often seen. The house itself is located on the edge of the village, bordering a small quiet canyon. A variety of birds fill the air with song. We are in a great location for sunset walks, biking along the water, or just sitting and watching the sun dripping into the ocean.
