Cross the footbridge over the fish pond in the tropical atrium garden & take in the oversize lanai complete with a bar, TV & plenty of seating. While you sip refreshments, watch TV or soak in the beautiful canal view. The lanai faces west & is like an open air family room with a pool that connects the 2 car garage, the guesthouse & pool bath to the main house. There is the baja (family) room where you can watch TV, play games, or read a book by the warmth of a fire all while enjoying the pool & canal outside of the glass door walls. In addition, there is a well equipped kitchen, living room, dining room, 3 more bedrooms & 2 full bathrooms. Take a dip in the pool or fish from the patio. Wave at the boaters or rent a boat & take the 10 minute ride to the river with only 1 bridge to pass under. Kick back & relax or enjoy a bike ride along the cozy streets. Walk, bike or drive to nearby shops & restaurants. This house is off main roads but close to everything. You will feel like you are at your own private resort

Other amenities: There are fishing poles & 6 bicycles available to our guests. Boats can be rented locally.

Why Toni chose Cape Coral

We visited Cape Coral at the recommendation of friends and were delighted with its layout and location. There are so many great restaurants and watching the sunset from the yacht club deck is totally relaxing, especially when local talent serenade you.

What makes this house unique

This property was so distinctly unique compared to others we looked at. With it's fishpond and footbridge inside the lanai and the separate guest house, we felt it would be a great place for travelers to stretch out and relax. It is perfect for large crowds and entertaining. We spent a lot of time redoing and expanding the tropical gardens that surround the house and created many places to sit and take in the ambience. It is always possible to find a quiet spot to be alone if the mood strikes you. The shops and restaurants are within walking or biking distance and the neighbors are fantastic.

Notes: Pool is 9 ft deep at deep end & heated. Smoking is permitted outside & ashtrays are provided. There is a small beach at the yacht club & Ft. Myers beaches are only 20 minutes away. SunSplash waterpark is even closer. Captiva, Sanibel & Pine islands are 30 minutes away. Naples is 1 hr. & Tampa is 2 hrs away. The food store is a 5 minute walk. There is inexpensive bus transportation that runs throughout Lee County.

Terrific family vacation

Our family spent a wonderful week in Cape Coral. The house was spacious (more than enough room for 7 adults), clean and equipped with everything we needed, from beach chairs and fishing poles to blenders and margarita glasses. It's location was perfect for exploring Southwest Florida. We took day trips to Sanibel Island, Naples, Fort Myers and Everglade City. We even rented a boat and spent the day exploring the canals and river, but my favorite part of each day was relaxing in the Lanai. The Lanai was a perfect spot to sunbathe, swim, read, eat, play cards and spend quality time with each other. This was our first time using Home Away and Toni was very helpful and responded quickly to any questions we had, making the whole experience easy and worry free. Thanks Toni!

Our family had a amazing time staying at this house. The description of the amenities was exact and more than what was described. The fishing on the canal was excellent and heard the Manatees at night passing by. Very spacious and will be looking forward to staying here again in the future.

This summer was one of the best ones our family had. And renting this house surely played a very big role. This house had the perfect layout whether just for relaxation or having company. The rooms were spacious and everything we needed were provided. The pool is located on the center which was accessible from the kitchen, family room, bar, guest house etc. The relatives who visited commended us for choosing this house and inquired and are interested on renting themselves. Many thanks to Toni for providing us with the perfect set up who was available anytime we needed her. We definitely recommend this house to whoever wants. We will choose this again in a heartbeat. The memories will stay with us forever. What a great place to stay in Cape Coral

Beautiful Place

This is a beautiful house with an ample amount of space for large groups. We had a group of seven; four adults and three children. The pool was great for the youngsters, and us oldies! My husband loved fishing in the canal out back during the evening. I would definitely stay in this house again if visiting the Cape Coral area!
