Located at Silver Strand Beach. We are on the South side of Channel Island Harbor. This beach is best known for its surf and the place where all the actors bought homes in the 1960. There is a farmers market at the harbor every weekend. There is always something going on at the harbor, tall ships, music, great restaurants, there is something for everyone.

Silver Strand Beach: It is almost a privet beach so don't worry about finding a nice spot on the beach. There aren't very many beaches that can brag that they are pet friendly, kid freindly and are also a great surf spot.

Sit back & relax: Take the chairs to the beach, sit back and watch the whales, surfers, windsurfers, kitesurfer or the ultralites overhead. This is truely a beach that an uncrowded get away.

Steps away from the water. You will see ultra lites flying by. kite surfing going on. On this almost privite beach. Ventura has the best boutique shopping anywhere. We also have the largest Premium Outlets just a few miles to Camarillo. The food, the shopping, the beach, the best sunsets, we are next to the harbor, Kayaking, Surfing, or take one the beach cruisers to the local pubs and hang out with the nicest locals anywhere. We really do have it all.

Other Activities: Take the ferry to Anacapa Island, surffing, kayak, sailing, sport fishing. Everything the ocean has to offer.

Notes: Smoking is not allowed inside. Great kitchen, BBQ, longers, there always seems to be 3 or 4 beach chairs around (they come and go). This is the most comfortable beach house around.

PET FRIENDLY BEACH HOUSE

I hate to leave this clean beach house, This beach house has all the required amenities include flat screen TV, Stereo, DVD, satelite TV, beautiful kitchen with granite counters, jacuzzi, washer/dryer. Each bedroom has a luxurious queen size bed, and TV . The patio is comfortable for grilling and getting to know the friendly neighbors. The beach is a a short block away. There are 2 adult bikes that I took strolling the neigborhood. This is a perfect vacation house!
Recommended for:  Pet-friendly, Families with Teenagers, Romantic Getaway

Gold Stay at Silver Strand

This two bedroom residence is a great place to stay. It is clean, attractive and comfortable. The two bedrooms have dresser and closet room. The living and dining areas are pleasant. The kitchen is well functioning with an ample stock of cooking and serving materials. Outdoor seating areas welcome relaxation with good seating for capturing the California sun. And, last but not least, Chase is a wonderful host, responsive and kind.

I would and already have recommended Silver Strand Beach house to others.

Great place to bring in 2013!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our New Year's stay. The house is located just a block from Silver Strand. It's a beautiful beach to walk and watch the surfers. Plus, the sunsets were absolutely amazing!! The house is spacious and nicely furnished. You don't need to bring anything because the house is well equipped!! We plan on staying there again when we visit LA in the future.

Awesome Weekend Getaway

Even better than the pictures. Clean as a whistle and dog friendly too. The beach is only a short walk away and there are great local beach restaurants to walk to as well. Complete kitchen made cooking a breeze. After swimming in the ocean for hours my teen son enjoyed warming up in the crystal clear spa. The beds are heavenly and TV entertainment endless. Wifi if you want to keep in touch with the outside world. We had the best weekend. We will certainly return to this charming home.

Real Weekend Getaway

A last minute decision to escape the San Fernando Valley heat on one of the hottest weekends on record led me to this gem of a beach house.
Luckily it was available and we packed up our dog, swim suits, beach umbrella and assorted foodstuffs not knowing what to expect. What a lovely surprise to find a top notch renovation in a sweet beach cottage. Great beds, awesome shower, spa, spacious and light filled living areas, 2 cruising bicycles and a kitchen that made cooking easy. Within walking distance there are great eats at beach restaurants, a small grocery and of course the beach.... which is only about 100 yards from the house. I can't say enough wonderful things about this little slice of heaven. Manny, the neighbor was there to greet us with a smile and offer his help with any needs and Chase was always available by phone or email to answer any questions. We felt well taken care of and will return in the future, many times if I have my way.
