This charming renovated cottage sits in a quiet cove on Seven Tree Pond in Union Maine. The days are filled with swimming, great fishing, and bird watching including the many bald eagles that have nested on the lake. Use the canoe to take trips down the river into White Oak among the many other waterways to explore, or just sit on the 90 foot dock to relax and take it all in. In the afternoon, play kickball or croquet on the beautiful back lawn with the family. If you don't feel like cooking or grilling out there are several take-outs and a diner and restaurant in the village of Union. Also in the village, known as the 'Common', you can find a wonderful grocery store to accommodate your every need. Area attractions would be the Maine Lobster Festival, North Atlantic Blues Festival, Union Fair, Windsor Fair, both Rockland and Camden for shopping, sightseeing, Harbor & Island cruises, many restaurants, along with several golf courses in the area including the Samoset Resort.

The Mid Coast region is full of things to do, hiking trails, mountain biking, many State Parks including Camden Hills and Damariscotta Lake to name a few. Enjoy some of the best summer fairs and festivals in Maine just minutes away, or visit the State Capital in Augusta. If you are the fine arts and museum type then you should visit the Farnsworth in Rockland. Don't be shy to bring your golf clubs along with you, some wonderful courses are the Samoset Resort on the ocean, Rockland Golf Club and Goose River in Rockport. You can catch a ferry to one of the many visited islands in Penobscot Bay for a day. About 3 miles from the cottage there is a winery.
