East 13th Street One Bedroom Apartment Suite In Manhattan's East Village off of 3rd Avenue is this one bedroom, one bathroom apartment suite. On the second floor of an elevator-equipped building, this suite has a newly renovated kitchen with dishwasher and washer/dryer. High ceilings allow for a lot of light in the suite. Bedroom has large walk-in closet. Living room has dining table area and sofa that folds out to be a queen-sized bed so that this suite can sleep up to four people. Wireless internet, flat screen TV with DVD player, phone in suite, iron & ironing board and hair dryer provided. Sorry, no smoking. One block from Union Square. Close to Gramercy, Lower East Side, Chelsea, West Village, SoHo and Brooklyn.

Just got back from staying here. Really enjoyed it. There were three of us, two in the bedroom and one on the couch sofa. the king bed was so comfortable I must agree. The sofa not so much but what else would you expect. Lots of towels, sheets, blankets available, the guy that met us with the keys had the heat on so we had a nice warm appartment to arrive to from the new york winter cold.
Tv was great, amenities in kitchen were great too although we didnt use them that much. very safe secure apt and very near to the subways.wireless worked perfect
Have to commend Nancy from Herricks as well as she was very pleasant and patient to deal with.
I would definately recommend this place when stayin in manhattan
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

excellent apartment

This apartment is roomy and gets lots of light. Very nice and clean with plenty of towels. The king size bed was extremely comfortable. The pull-out couch not so comfortable. Great location for cabs, subway, and grocery.
Second floor in nice, safe building, nice neighborhood. Right off of 3rd Ave. so there is traffic noise, but you can turn on the air fan and that helps at night. The only problem we experienced was the TV went out our last full day there and wasn't fixed before we left the following day.
That was a problem because the city was having bad weather, with school closings and flights being cancelled, and we had no way of keeping up on the news of the storm or updates about airline cancellations. Very frustrating. It also would have been nice to watch a show or a movie since the weather was so bad.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing
