Beautiful new home that sits on a greenbelt just a short walk from the the local market. A two car heated garage and driveway allows for entry and exit in any weather. The large (800 sq. ft.) master bedroom is separated from the main house allowing for a quiet place to retire for the evening while the others enjoy the entertainment center in the main house. Lots of deck space for entertaining and cook-outs and beautiful views.
There are two king beds one in each of the master bedrooms, one queen bed in main floor bedroom, 4 full beds (two futons in loft, one in a bunk and one trundle under the bunk) in one main floor bedroom. The top bed in the bunk is a single bed. Thus, the master loft sleeps four (king, two fulls), one main bedroom sleeps two (queen), other main bedroom sleeps three (full, full and single bunk and trundle) and separate master bedroom sleeps 2 (one king). The house sleeps 11 comfortably and there are couches and floor mattresses for additional sleepers. We have set the limit at 12 occupants unless prior permission is received.

This a second home for the families of two brothers. We are both sports enthusiasts with extended families and enjoy skiing, hunting, fishing, hiking and the outdoors in general. The house is set up for us to enjoy all the activities in and around Angel Fire.
If you have large families like ours you will welcome the house set up with wifi throughout separate TVs, several decks, large lot attached to the green belt with less than 1/2 mile walk to the grocery store. Everything you need is at the house as we live here several months a year. The house is at the end of a cul-de-sac and is very quiet. Elk and deer visit regularly.
We had a great time. Loved the house and all the room. The owner and property manager are very easy to work with.
We had two families (4 adults and 6 kids) and this property was great. Tons of room for sleeping, but wish there had been a little more room in the family room since we didn't want to use the HUGE master as a family room (which you could do). Everything just as advertised in the ad. Hot tub very nice after skiing, 4 is really the max you can have in it at one time.
Kitchen had everything you need for the most part, fridge space was a little tight with everything we brought since there was actually quite a bit left in the fridge already (condiments and other non-perishables). Prices at grocery store down the street were not totally outrageous so don't overpack or plan to leave some in a cooler if necessary.
Not too far from the lifts, easy to drive over and park and then from there it's a 1 minute shuttle ride to the lifts (there is no shuttle service near the house). The driveway is steep and if there is ice underneath the snow, it can make it difficult even with chains (didn't have 4 wheel drive), but a little kitty litter solved that issue. HUGE oversized heated garage makes driving to the slopes a lot easier since you don't have to worry about the car being cold or iced over when you load up in the morning. We had tons of room on every side even with 2 Suburbans inside the garage.

An exception was made for our group of 14 due to the fact that six of us were children (7 and under). Loved it being last house, so no traffic. Enjoyed the hot tub after long days of skiing. Too bad the master bedroom wasn't the living room, but we had a great time. We spent a lot of time around the table playing games etc after we all got in. Would definitely stay again.
We had a family of 12, ranging from 23 months to 74 years. The house was more spacious than I had anticipated. Stairs were a slight issue for the toddler. Clean, quiet, very neat. We had snow the first day we were there. We needed a 4-wheel drive to get up and down the icy/snowy street and driveway, but we finally managed to make it. We had a great time and I would stay there again. We only had 2 issues: the TV in the den is small. It would have been nice to have a larger TV for us all to watch together. There isn't much else to do there after dark. The other issue was we lost power for a short while and there was no back-up heat, other than the fireplace. But again, we made it just fine. The hot tub is well-worth the extra expense and I received my depost back from the owner within 10 days of our departure. Great experience!!!
Our family of 5 adults and 5 children enjoyed a wonderful week at this home. It is truly spacious, clean, well-maintained and in a quiet neighborhood surrounded by forest. Hiking trails are just a step away and our young children spent most of the time outdoors. There is so much to do in Angel Fire, Taos and Red River! We had such a great time from morning to night. We spent our evenings cooking out on the home's grill, soaking in the hot tub and lounging on the deck. What could be better than that?
