Overview

Nederland Cabin Rental Photos and Description

Cabin, 4 Bedrooms, 1 Bath, (Sleeps 2-8) (Ten cabins available)

SEPTEMBER IN THE ROCKIES. FLY FISHING, WILDLIFE VIEWING, GOLDEN ASPEN, PEACE AND QUIET.

Arapaho Ranch is in the Roosevelt National Forest about ten miles east of the Continental Divide and 18 miles into the mountains west of Boulder. The Ranch occupies a long valley between Nederland and Eldora, with beautiful Middle Boulder Creek running through the property. If you just want a nice, quiet place to relax and enjoy the tranquility of the mountains, Arapaho Ranch is the place for you. From the snow-covered peaks in June, to the golden aspens of September, a summer vacation in Colorado is one you will long remember.

The 10 cabins are located either on the stream, or on the hillside - surrounded by big pine and aspen trees. Each cabin is spaced to afford maximum privacy and seclusion.

The Perfect Mountain Vacation

  • 5 of 5

I have been coming the Arapaho Ranch for more than a dozen years and love the seclusion, beauty and wonderful trout filled stream. The cabins are rustic, but comfortable. The sounds of the mountain stream outside is peaceful and sooothing. Though you feel like your are a 1000 miles away and seculed in the mountains, you are only five miles from Nederland with it's fun shops and unique resuraunts, and 30 minutes away from Boulder.

I have now stayed in cabins 2, 3, and 4 and honestly can tell you if one is better than the other. They are each unique and charming. I certainly don't miss a TV or telephone. And, if I need to check my email I just drive down to Nederland and hookup to one of the many free wi-fi networks.

I plan on returning to the ranch for many years to come.

Great getaway!

  • 5 of 5

We loved out stay at Arapaho Ranch Cabins! We were in a very cute cabin with deck overlooking the rushing waters of Boulder Creek. We had a wonderful deck and 4 bedrooms! The kitchen was fully stocked and we took advantage of the many dishes, pots and pans to cook a few meals. We would recommend the Black Forest Inn in Nederland -- they have very good German food, and there are a couple of restaurants on Main Street that we've been too before and like very much. We took a drive up to Estes Park and just enjoyed the hiking trails around the cabin. We had cabin number 7. We'd love to try them all! Bring your warm clothes if the forecast calls for cool weather, because it does get nippy! The owner, Kayla, was a delight, as was her business partner. We plan to go again soon! Also, if you have little ones, there is a fishing pond and campfires on Monday nights. Thank you, Arapaho Ranch! We'll be back : )

Charming and Simple, Relaxing and Memorable

  • 5 of 5

This is our second summer visiting Arapaho Ranch, even though we live just 35 minutes away. The highlights for our kids (8, 7, 6 years old) are the songs at the Monday night camp fire, the kids' fishing pond, the rec hall (billiards, ping pong), and exploring the creek and the grounds. The highlight for the adults is that it feels fine to not know where the kids are all the time: "do you know where the kids are?" "Nope." We also like to drag them up onto some of the Indian Peaks Wilderness trails for wildflowers and mountain lakes.

The cabins are simple and clean. The owners are helpful and always around.

We look forward to our third visit next summer.

Great place to get away from it all!

  • 4 of 5

Our cell phones didn't work and there was no Wi-Fi in the area. It was the perfect place to completely escape from the stresses of life. The location is close to town, but tucked in the woods it feels very remote. Very dog friendly, our girl loved roaming around the woods. The cabins are clean and no frills, but have all the basics you need. Will definitely be coming back.
