True, the area is beautiful and the grass-covered land behind the cabin is nice to walk around on. BUT the house was a mess. The coffee maker had a filter with moldy coffee in it that looks like it hasn't been taken out in months. The furniture looks dirty and old, the local activities guide could not be found, there was rust on the toilet, the sheets did not look fresh at all, the standing light in the living room can't stand straight (which adds to the overall shady appearance of the house), we were afraid to use the microwave because of how dirty it looked. The dryer door kept opening when we tried to dry clothes. All in all I guess you get what you pay for because it is cheap but we did not leave the house happy with the house itself.
Owner's Response: We apologize if there was a filter left in the coffee maker. We just cleaned from the renters that checked out 12 hours before your arrival. We cleaned the cabin entirely after check out from each renter. All linens, comforters, and towels are washed after each check out. We have wash machine and dryer at the cabin that we do all the laundry in on site. The cabin interior and exterior looks and is 100% as what photos show on website. If the cabin was any different when you found it you needed to call us or let us know immediately so we could have corrected it. I was there personally before check in. We apologize if you could not locate any of the attractions for we could have been of assistance to locate them if you asked. You must also remember this cabin is well water. We apologize for any in convince and anything that was not as picture in photos on the website. You may also call the number at any time during your stay if you need assistance that we give you at check in. We encourage anyone at check in if the cabin is not as pictured to please contact us immediately. We hope we can be of further assistance in the future.
