Absolutely Heaven! Couldn't be more perfect!

This beach condo is phenomenal... spacious, comfortable, well-appointed, very clean and well-maintained. It has the most amazing views of the Pacific Ocean and, of course, gorgeous sunsets. As the condo is a penthouse unit, it commands views you would miss if you were lower. While it would be easy to spend all day, every day in the condo and on its decks, the beach, infinity pool, and palapa (where Jaime makes especially delicious pina coladas) make venturing down to the ground floor well worth it.
There is much to do and see in Mazatlan both for sightseers and shoppers. There are great restaurants, too. Two of our favorites are Playa Bruja (a mile or two north) and Los Zarapes (south of the unit, in the Gold Zone). This condo is located north of the busiest part of Mazatlan (the "Gold Zone"). It's nice because the beach is not crowded, but it's easy to get to the "action" if that's what you want. Just up the beach from the condo, we rented horses and rode on the beach... I felt like I was in a commercial or movie.
I had worried that we might not be able to drink the water, or would feel unsafe, but both were needless concerns. The water in the condo building is purified and, I never felt the least bit unsafe anywhere I went... but especially in the gated condo resort.
Our kids and we enjoyed swimming in the pools and the ocean, flying kites, playing beach volleyball, para-sailing, jet skiing, and, of course, soaking up the sunshine on lounge chairs by the pool and beach.
We first stayed in this unit with our family. When we returned to our home in Ohio and raved about this place to our friends (some of whom are celebrating "big" birthdays this year), they said that's where they to celebrate. We are looking forward to returning this year with our friends. We know they will enjoy it as much as we did.
We have traveled many wonderful places in the world, but most are more expensive to get to, more expensive to stay at, and most importantly, none are as nice.
I know there are lots of nice places in Mazatlan, but you'll be hard-pressed to find one as nice as this one! It's fabulous!!!
