Pioneer Trail Cabin is less than 1 mile from the casinos and Heavenly Resort. Groceries, movie theater, restaurants, coffee shop, shopping, and ice skating are in walking distance. There is a city bus stop just 100 feet from the cabins' driveway and a taxi service is available with reasonable prices. Don't feel like going out there is plenty of reason to stay in - hot tub, flat screen TV, cable, movie library, books and magazines, game system, board games, full service kitchen, picnic and grill, wireless Internet, beautiful gardens and more....

Ski: Heavenly Mountain Resort is accessible from several different points. The closest and most convenient to the cabin is the Heavenly Gondola located in the center of Heavenly Village. The gondola is a little over a half mile from the cabin. About a 10 to 15 min walk! Other Ski Resorts in the area are Sierra at Tahoe, Kirkwood, Mt Rose, Diamond Peak, Homewood, North Star at Tahoe, Sugar Bowl, and Squaw Valley USA. These resorts are 45 minutes or longer drive time.
