This luxurious unit is available as a 2 bdrm, 3 full bath unit or as a 1 bdrm, 2 full bath unit. The master bdrm has 1 king size bed(faces pool area) and the 2nd bdrm has 2 queen size beds(faces oceanside). There is a cathedral ceiling in the living area - comprised of a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, lvg room, there are 2 balconies on ocean. All white with a tropical feel, lots of local artwork.
NOTE ABOUT AVAILABILITY: This listing shows our Villa for rent. As homeowners, we also currently rent for other owners in our complex. We currently rent for 15 other, short -term vacation rentals on the oceanfront/gardenside...so if our unit is booked...there are plenty more, each individually owned and privately decorated. There are also gardenside units available for rent. So, please do not hesitate to ask. We also have for rent a 3 bedroom, 4 full bathroom duplex on the oceanfront available for vacation rentals(please see our website for all descriptions). We created this website not only as an avenue for vacation rental opportunities, but mainly to showcase the community we have come to love, Cupecoy Beach Club and the captivating island of St. Maarten/St. Martin.
From our first steps on the island in 1992, we knew that this tropical paradise was where we wanted to come back to year after year.
We purchased, 12 years ago, after being long-time timeshare vacationers. When Hurricane Lenny stalled over St. Maarten, in 1999, our regular spot closed for repairs. After years of driving by Cupecoy Beach Club and peeking in, our curiosity led us to book a vacation here. That one visit was all it took – we had found our “little piece of paradise”.
In 2002, a full-time job opportunity at Cupecoy Beach Club (managing Premier Real Estate Sales & Service (PRESS), the on-site real estate and property management company) presented itself. The decision was crystal clear and we moved to St.Maarten/St. Martin, with our 4 year old son. It remains one of the happiest times in our lives. We are living proof that dreams can become a reality.

This condo is an excellent choice both in size, amenities, furnishings, and also for location. The listing photo's are accurate, it is a nice place and a very nice size.
We rented this place as a one bedroom condo, and it was great for two of us, more than ample room. It has a great deck that faces the ocean, and a barbecue is located there but we did not use it. The maid service was excellent and thorough (twice a week). The maid showed us the additional bedroom area which we did not rent, and having two kids of my own, this would be ideal for a family rental. The second bedroom area is very large and has it's own shower and walk in closet.
The location of this property is excellent, in my opinion. It's located a quick 5 minute drive from the airport in an easily identifiable location, and right across from a casino (these are not loud-Vegas style casino's), and several very nice restaurants. The property is gated, and the gate is manned 24 hours/day by friendly people.
The pool is located in the center of the complex. While it would be preferable that it's located on the ocean side for a view, there simply isn't room at the property for that and it would interfere with the ocean view condo's located there. The pool has a swim up bar, and the young lady we encountered as the bartender/server, was very friendly and nice.
As I said earlier, the unit is 5 minutes from the airport, and Maho, which is a small little town closest to Cupecoy where this unit is located. Maho has quite a few fine restaurants, and we had dinner at all of them. You might anticipate that being so close to the airport that jet traffic noise would be a bother, but it was not at all. I would highly recommend that you take a trip to Sunset Beach and watch the jets land and take off. The end of the airport runway is located about 75 feet from sunset beach, and when large jets land, they fly 30 feet right above your head, and when they take off people get on the beach in the jet blast and get blown into the water. It's an amazing sight.
I would recommend this unit to others looking for a well located, nicely furnished place.
