Come enjoy the quiet beauty of Hawaii as it used to be. Unwind in the sun and sand of Ma'alaea Bay -- one of those wonderful hidden secrets on Maui -- and be certain that you have found your own private piece of Paradise!
Our unit is located in the Kana'i A Nalu, one of ten small, low-rise, low-key resorts on a quiet street that dead ends into a park and Nature Preserve on Ma'alaea Bay.
Our unit #217, is a premium on-the-beach condominium with a corner location with panoramic views across the bay to Molokini and Kahoolawa. Our condo has been entirely renovated and professionally decorated with beautiful rattan, old Hawaiian plantation pieces, tropical textiles, and local art and accessories. They consist of a spacious living-dining room, a master bedroom with a comfortable, king-size bed and private bath, a second bedroom with two twin beds that can be made up into a king, with an adjoining bath, and a fully appointed kitchen with all the comforts of home, including washer-dryers.
There is a beautiful lanai with a table and comfortable chairs. Amenities include beach towels, sand chairs, boogie boards, and other beach stuff for your use. We love our Island home and wish to make this a comfortable and memorable experience for our guests.
Our beautiful sandy beach stretches east for four miles, past a bird and turtle sanctuary/state park to Sugar beach, at the north end of Kihei. Quiet, and basically empty, it is an idyllic place for walking, shelling, sunbathing, and swimming. When the Ma'alaea surf is up, you can watch the excitement from your lanai -- or join in as the surfers gather to get that 'perfect wave'.
Our tropical grounds include a beautiful beach-side swimming pool and barbecue, and a large expanse of grass to lounge on -- a wonderful location for adults and children alike.
Surrounded by beach, cane fields, a public garden, a bird and turtle sanctuary, Ma'alaea Marina and shopping area, a sparkling new aquarium, and a half dozen wonderful restaurants, Kana'i A Nalu is the perfect base for your vacation on Maui.
Watch the sun rise over Haleakala; take a morning walk on the four-mile beach; have breakfast on the lanai while you watch the whales playing in the bay; enjoy the lush, tropical grounds and swimming pool; walk down to the aquarium or marina and eat at one the restaurants overlooking the harbor.
We think our island home is 'No Ka Oi' or 'the best'. Let us share our piece of Paradise with you. Come stay a week -- or a month.
