One of the most amazing weeks I have ever had!

Nestled at the end of a dirt road, Wellington Cottage turned out to be the ideal getaway for the week. I stayed there with several of my friends from boarding school, as we were up north for the Interlochen Arts Academy 50th reunion weekend. The property was used to it's fullest extent. I threw a HUGE party for alumni at the cottage and there was plenty of parking, benches, tables, and chairs for sitting. The fire pit was in use every night, and the tree house and merry go round made us feel like kids again.
Linda provided enough linens and towels that not only did the people scheduled have ample provisions, unexpected over-nighters were not left in a lurch. Plenty of places for people to nap or sleep at night. The kitchen had more than enough tools and cookware for our week.
The screened in porch was a wonderful place to sit for breakfast on the rainy Sunday morning and then we threw on our bathing suits for an afternoon dip in the lake. Low and behold, there were two kayaks, a row boat, fishing equipment, and an inner tube for us to enjoy in the shed! The loons calling at night and the stars topped everything off brilliantly.
The deck just off of the main room was large but we were disappointed not to be able to use the hot tub, the heating element was broken.
I highly recommend this property for anyone to use, small or large group, this is a wonderful, well cared for cottage getaway. My friends and I are already planning another trip up for next year.
