Interior Description: The large tastefully decorated and furnished dining room and living room open through several glass double-doors to the patio overlooking the ocean and mountains, ensuring that you can enjoy the view from every couch, chair or comfortable seat. The large second floor family room has a wet bar and fridge and built in mahogany shelving and desk filled with a variety of hardcover books and novels for everyone’s reading pleasure. This luxury accommodation features four large professionally decorated bedrooms with quality furniture, each with its own fireplace, personal washroom, Jacuzzi tub or bathtub and spectacular oceanfront views. Should additional sleeping space be necessary, hotel style cots are available, as is a queen sized pullout couch in the den downstairs. Gabriola Gables is an ideal setting for family reunions, large groups, weddings or retreats.

Kitchen and other details: Perhaps you love to cook and entertain? The large fully equipped gourmet kitchen complete with two convection ovens, gas stove, large stainless refrigerator and freezer, and two dishwashers includes everything you need to throw together casual meals, or gastronomic creations fit for a king! If barbecuing is more your style, you won’t be disappointed by the first-rate stainless BBQ and tools. If you have plans to entertain, the 8-place cherry dining room suite and place settings for 12 will ensure that your guests are as comfortable visiting you at the estate as they may be in your own home. This five-acre property will easily accommodate home soccer or baseball matches, followed by roasting of marshmallows and sausages over the fire pit. For a change of pace, a computer with Internet, board games, large flat-screen television, DVD / VHS machine and movie library are available in the den. The kids will also enjoy playing with the X-Box machine and games provided.

Guest Book: Hi, I don't normally respond to survey but this property exceeded our expectations so much I felt compelled to let you know how much we appreciated our stay. The home and grounds were clean, spacious, well-quipped and homey. We felt instantly at home and relaxed as we read books and looked out over the ocean, The grounds were lovely and the beds/sheets were better than any high-end hotel we've stayed at! We cooked a lot of meals in the large well-equipped kitchen and dined in the dining room over looking the ocean. The decorating was very much to our taste and reminded us of our home. It was such a comfortable stay that our daughter asked to spend her 15th birthday this summer at the house and we had a nice celebration for her on August 16. This rental was one of the best places we have ever stayed and I wonder if you could pass these comments and appreciation on to the owners. Thanks! The Biberdorf family
