In winter: Tahoma is surrounded by the largest concentration of ski resorts in the United States. Alpine ski or snowboard at nearby ski resorts such as Squaw Valley USA, Alpine Meadows Ski Resort and Homewood Mountain Resort. Nordic skiers have access to machine-groomed tracks at several cross-country centers. Other winter activities, such as snowshoeing, off-track skiing, sledding, ice-skating and sleigh rides are also available.

In Summer: In summer, our shared private white sand beach, pier and moorings, are just a 2 minute walk away-- along with local bistros, and a great country market. Ride the bike path from the beach along the shore to Tahoe City, down the Truckee River all the way to Squaw Valley. The park and playground feature family movies and non-denominational church services. Visit Tahoe's beautiful State Parks as well as Tahoe National Forest and Desolation Wilderness where hiking and mountain bike trails include easy rides through forests and meadows or challenging climbs to nearby peaks. Don’t miss the Summer Music Festival, fishing and boating on the lake, horseback riding, and the farmers market.

Tahoe Review House - Awesome

This Reunion House is a gem. My friends and I decided to try a rental property for our annual ski/snowboard trip this year instead of the regular hotel rooms. Based on the amazing experience at the Reunion House, it will be hard going back to hotels. The house is fully equiped with all the necessary amenities that one would need in a home. few of the nights were able to leverage the Calphalon pots and pans for cooking. The Hot Tub was icing on the cake; we were able to enjoy it very much after a long day of skiing and riding.
Last but not least, Dominique (owner) went above and beyond providing tips and information about local events and mountains to visit. In all, this has been a memorable moment for all of us and will gladly recommend the Reunion House to all my friends. (As long as my friends and I don't have conflicting booking dates :-) )

We love the West Shore for the pure beauty and quietness of the lake. The ReUnion House was a perfect spot for our family. We have rented many homes on the West Shore the past 35 years and found this home to be the best equipped and the most centrally located for our needs. The availability to be near our favorite restaurants and markets was very important to us. Your home was in excellent condition and you were very quick to respond to any needs or questions we might have had. We have all ready recommended your property to our friends and plan to be back soon.

Spring Break Fun!

This was our first time renting a vacation home - ever!! I am so glad I read the previous reviews, because they were all true. Dominique is a wonderful person to work with. She was very helpful with all my questions, and even provided suggestions for us since this was our first stay on the West Shore. The house was exactly as represented in the online photos. The location was very convenient, and the neighborhood was quiet. All in all, this was a fantastic rental, and we would consider renting this again.

A great vacation for 2 families

We love your house with the well-equipped kitchen and open-plan for entertaining. We liked your cooking gadgets and equipment. The children got to ski and sled, at Alpine and the Sugar Pines State Park. The dog loved it all ! We especially like the location, being so close to the State Park and so many ski resorts but yet not busy and crowded. I even got a massage from your recommended list. So easy! Thank you!

Spring Break @ Reunion House

Always a little nervous as to what you find when renting someones house. This is not the case here. When we arrived it was just as Dominique said it would be. The house was ready for us and is totally stocked. Bring only your clothes, everyting else is already there. The kids had a blast milling around the yard in the snow and built little forts. Homewood is the best Ski resort for families.

Thanks for your part in making our Spring Break complete.
