My family has visited this cabin more than once and we will certainly return. It is amazing, beautiful, peaceful and HUGE! The rooms are very open and there is plenty of room for everyone to play, to include our 10 month old and 3 year old. The three decks offer glorious views and are wonderfully quiet yet you are still very close to all the action of Pigeon Forge shopping and not so far out that you can't still have pizza delivered! For me, that is perfection. There are tons of toys and books as well as games for every age. There is even a pack-n-play for our little one! How awesome is that? Traveling with a small child you always forget something and only have room for so much even if you drive, but they have some of those things covered for you; gates for the stairs and even toys for the smaller tots. The larger kids have a pool table, foosball table, air hockey and a card table with bumper pool on the flip side... I am sure I am forgetting something. If you get bored in this cabin, there is something wrong!! haha
It is impeccably clean, cozy and very organized, they even have a book to write comments if you do find something you need or think needs attention. We read through and saw a few suggestions that apparently were already taken care of! We did call the office for batteries for the remote, though we wouldn't have minded buying a few if need be. The owner himself came while we were there to check to see if we needed anything. We were very impressed. There is a very well stocked kitchen for those that would rather cook than go out for dinner, and a washer and dryer for those that like to come home with clean laundry! I love being able to wash on the spot, especially with small children, so bring some detergent and a few dryer sheets.
There is plenty of room for your entire family and everyone gets a king bed!!! In fact we have talked about having our annual family get together here with all 14 of us.
One of our trips we stayed a week and were not ready to go home! We spent a few days just in the cabin, reading, watching satellite TV, rocking on the deck, relaxing in the hot tub and a few days seeing the sites around town. Shopping, hiking, dining, bear watching at Cade's Cove... there is just so much to do.
We love the Smoky Mountain area and have visited the area many many times, staying in many different chalet, condos, hotels and cabins.. This cabin is BY FAR our favorite and is now considered our h
