Beautiful Brainerd Lake Home with Lots of Privacy & Great Scenery!

The house on this lot is 2000 sq ft, but if you go in early May, 1/2 the house is not usable as it is too cold. The fireplace in the basement 1/2 has no instructions for use and the owners are not helpful. There is no heat vents in the main areas of the basement. There was mouse feces in the bedroom closets and the kitchen cabinets, The dock was not out so it was not usable, The rental pontoon is broken from last season, so it is not available. The grill that is advertised is also broken and when the owners were notified, they expected us to buy one and leave it there and they would "reimburse" us for the cost. All four doors do not have any screens so bugs come in every time the doors are open. the firepit is on a slanted hill and is very shallow. You cannot launch a boat from the dock and the boardwalk up to the lake is haphazard and partly old and rotting. The downstairs bedroom has no closet or dresser. The frig was dirty both in the freezer and the frig areas, the costs this ad shows will be incorrect as the owners will not honor this price and will increase it by 2 - 3 times the posted cost for the non-peak times. also the May 31st date for the end of the non-peak period will not be honored as well. there was even more wrong, but I am running out of space to write it. Best keep on looking for a better deal - don't let the lower cost persuade you to try this place - it is not worth it.
