The Guest House is a private Villa, situated in Playa Ocotal, within walking distance of the beach. It comprises 3 bedrooms, each with exceptional views on the Gulf of Papagayo and its islands. Each bedroom has its own bathroom, a/c, fan, t.v. and independent lounge deck. The center room has a well-equipped kitchen and can be used as a living/dining room. The property has lush tropical gardens and is home to hummingbirds, parrots and monkeys and is just a 3 minute walk to the beach. There is a fabulous out-sized infinity pool. Situated just 30 minutes from Liberia International Airport, El Ocotal is an exclusive gated community overlooking an award-winning crescent-shaped beach. Close by is the fishing town of Playas del Coco, which has a variety of commercial centers, restaurants, supermarkets, post office, banks etc. Many other beaches are easily accessible from Ocotal. Playa Ocotal is a small, secure gated community with a beautiful crescent shaped award-winning beach. It offers bird-watching, hiking, scuba-diving, snorkeling, sailing, deep-sea fishing and water and jet-skiing. The beach is just 5 minutes walk from the villa, as are 3 restaurants. Day trips include the Volcano Rincon de la Vieja where you can enjoy an adventure-day: horseback riding, tubing, canopy rides, tarzan swing, canyoning, and a volcanic mud bath & hot springs. Highly recommended is a trip to Palo Verde National Park by boat. This is a birders paradise, but you will also see crocodiles, iguanas, bats and monkeys. Costa Rica's most famous volcano, Arenal, is a must-see, with cloud and rain forest which can be explored at canopy level through hanging bridges or via an aereal tram with (optional) canopy tour down. The deep blue waterfall, Llanos de Cortez, is an excellent picnic spot, as are many of the beaches close by.
