With its oldest part dating back to 1090, the château features two solid towers, a barn erected in the 1700s and a more formal main house built in the prosperous 1880s. The whole ensemble has been lovingly restored to provide the latest comforts while honoring its rich history. The 3ft thick stone walls keep the house pleasantly cool in the summer. Each section of the château (main house, adjoining house and converted barn) can be enjoyed on its own or as part of the whole.
