We cannot guarantee parking at the Waikiki Grand Hotel. Parking is more readily available at the Wailkiki Banyan Hotel 201 Ohua Ave. Honolulu, HI 96815. It is one and one half blocks from the Waikiki Grand, a short and quick walk. It is relatively secure and covered. The cost is $12 per day, $72 per week or $150 per month. Unfortunately, we cannot be responsible for loss of items left in cars.

Cute little Place! We loved our Week Stay Here

We have never used Home away Before and decided to be adventuruous and give it a shot and enjoyed our stay at Studio 505, This is sooo close to the beach! Just a minute walk away, starbucks is even closer and Teddy's Bigger Burgers is a really great deal on the first floor of the hotel. There is a Neighbor that has a loud bird that may wake you up, but after a couple of days it didn't bother us (even kinda miss it now). Defiantly would love to stay here again if it is available in the future! Thank you Steve for being Friendly and easy to work with!

Nice condo - lots of storage areas.

Best part of the condo was the furniture. Great bed and a wall storage unit that provided plenty of space for clothes. Luggage fit nicely underneath leaving the floor space. Whoever designed the small space did a great job.

The only downfall was not enough linens for a 10 night visit and a dust pan.

I will stay there again if available. I travel twice a year to the island and enjoy the Waikiki Grand location.

Aloha, thanks for taking the time to write a review and express your thoughts. I am pleased the the unit and location worked for you. We had just purchased new linens but perhaps we selected the wrong colors. We have gone back through the unit and replaced the mattress pad, purchased new, crispy white new sheets and a beautiful green comforter. We also replaced throw rugs and new towels, hand towels and wash cloths have been placed in the unit. Thank you so much to bringing this to my attention. Your business is appreciated. Great location!

My daughter (19 years) and I loved the location of this unit. While we found it to be a little on the small side, it really did have everything we needed. The owners were nice enough to have beach chairs, beach towels and snorkel masks for us to use. The kitchenette and bathroom looked to be recently remodeled and were in very good condition. We parked at the Banyan Hotel as recommneded. It was a 5 minute walk to our unit. The Banyan had recently raised their price for parking and it cost $72 for the week (CASH ONLY) which was still cheaper than parking at The Grand. You must try Teddy's Burgers which is on site...yummy! My only real complaint was that the bedding and towels could be upgraded. If they were, I would have given this reveiw 5 stars.
Recommended for:  Adventure Seekers, Sightseeing, Romantic Getaway

Great place to stay for a great price

My wife and I stayed here for a little over a week in the middle of May and it was perfect for our vacation. The condo was very clean and worked great for our needs. Along with beach towels there was a large blanket that can be used on the beach, two beach chairs, and snorkel equipment (minus the fins) for two.

Located in the hotel are two restaurants, one one the second floor and one on the first floor. The burgers on the first floor restaurant (Teddy Burgers i think) were amazing.

We had a rental car which we parked about a block away at the Banyan hotel for 10 dollars a night or 60 a week. Its cheaper than parking in at the Waikiki Grand (18 bucks a night). But there are bus stops close by and you can walk to everything there on Waikiki.

The only thing that kind of bugged us was that we were serenaded every night and morning by the neighbors birds (parrots we think). It was kind of entertaining after a while because they would imitate our whistles and the beeping of a backing up truck in the distance. Nothing to drive people away and I dont know if they are permanent residents or not but just wanted to share the info.

In all we would really recommend choosing a condo that is privately owned over paying full price in a hotel. Its a great deal and we loved being able to cook our own breakfast and put use the fridge for leftovers.
