Three of my coworkers and I rented The Webster House for a month while working in Rochester, and it couldn't have been a more restful place to call home for those too-short four weeks.

The owners were incredibly helpful in recommending local restaurants, and giving us directions towards all necessary locations.

The commute to downtown Rochester was an easy 20 minutes - at most - with never any traffic, and anything we ever needed was on the way to/from the city.

Though we rented the house while on assignment, it was a perfect spot for relaxing on our days off. We didn't even leave the house some days. The four bedrooms are wonderfully spaced out, and each has its own bathroom. The master bedroom with an immense walk-in closet was a highlight. From the luxurious living room to the comfortable game room, we had such a fun time here, and the kitchen is wonderfully stocked for any cooking adventure upon which one might embark.

I cannot say enough good things about The Webster House as an alternative to hotel living in and around Rochester. The house is across the street from the lake, and utterly peaceful.

I am a performing artist who travels all over North American so finding suitable housing is always a must. The Webster House was by far the most beautiful and relaxing place I have ever had the pleasure of coming home to. It was very clean, well maintained and stocked with all the modern conveniences one would need in a home away from home. Mark and Erin were wonderful proprietors always available to answer any questions. I will miss having my morning coffee on the veranda and warming my toes by the fireplace!

After more than 30 years of living in Florida, I wanted to spend Christmas in my hometown with family and friends. My husband and I found the Webster house on line and booked it. It turned out to be the best Christmas any of us could remember. The house is spectacular, an old farmhouse with modern conveniences. All four bedrooms have a private bath. The rooms are big and updated, beds are comfortable with high quality linens and towels. The big screen TV and Billiard Table kept us entertained. We felt like we were home and everyone that visited told us how warm and cozy it seemed. Erin and Mark went out of their way to make are stay enjoyable. We look forward to staying there again and would recommend it to anyone visiting the Rochester area. Next time we hope to stay in the summer so we can enjoy the big in-ground pool.
