In a beautifully restored century old building that is very conveniently located near the historic Canal district and the trendy Atwater market. Near the Lachine Canal and Old Montreal. Montreal’s Metro subway is just 2 minutes walking distance from the apartment. An ideal pied-à-terre for any visitors that want to take the subway to get around or be near the major arteries by car. Sleeps 4 to 6 people & very bright in 850 sq. ft on the 3rd floor. Spotlessly clean & tastefully decorated with good quality furniture & appointments throughout. This unit is fully furnished and features two bedrooms, a full kitchen with dishwasher that leads out to a large balcony with BBQ. If you cook, provisions can be bought at Atwater market or at deluxe IGA grocery store just minutes away - If you prefer to dine out, there are many good restaurants just minutes away. We are good hosts that have spared no expense to make your stay as enjoyable as possible.

This is a great area that is conveniently located. There is good food and good shopping nearby. We are just minutes from the subway system which can take you downtown (just 3 stops) and We are within walking distance of Atwater market, Antique row on Notre-Dame street and many excellent restaurants. There are many things to do in this area, including public tennis courts across the street. Bring your rackets and have fun! If you want to bicycle on the Lachine Canal bike path that leads to old Montreal, you can rent bicycles at the Atwater market (in some cases we can lend bikes). There is also kayak rental at the Atwater market, take a leisurely paddle down the canal. You can also watch all the boats go through the Canal locks on weekends. Parking is easy on the street and we have a garage available for winter parking.

The Montreal apartment was great. Better than the pictures, and conveniently centrally located. We were two adults with two teenagers, and we spent four days in the apartment. The place was clean and spacious and was fully equipped for everything we needed for sleeping, cooking and entertaining. And the owner, John, was very helpful in getting us anything else we needed. We will definitely be returning our next trip to Montreal. We highly recommend staying here.

This is a beautiful apartment handy to evertyhing in Montreal We spent a week there in October, the place is nicely decorated, it has good heating and great wi-fi. The owners are lovely and the guides they left were particularly useful. A nice touch was the bag of resh bagels on arrival. The metro is handy and there's a very good supermarket nearby. The washer-drier was very useful after being on the road for sometime. I'd recommend this apartment it was a gem.

This is a wonderful place to stay in the city. It is bright, spacious and absolutely spotless. Very tastefully decorated, conveniently located and you can park right out front. Lots of good local restaurants and of course our favorite Atwater Market. Includes everything you might need and then some. Highly recommended, truly a home away from home. Quiet, too. You will like it.

Great visit to Montreal included this apartment.

The apartment is in brand new condition in a totally renovated building. Attractive, comfortable, warm, with all the comforts of home. Short walk to Metro, Atwater Market, and large grocery store. Family of three with 7 year old daughter had a wonderful 3 night stay here in Sud-Ouest Montreal. John and Jane are excellent hosts who have provided great info on local restaurants, and other resources (a good selection of DVDs for both kids and grownups). Strong wi-fi connection to help with your Montreal research. Very easy access from the the Highway - no long drive through the city - we drove up from New Hampshire. Easy on street parking. We look forward to another trip in the summer to enjoy biking along the canal and will definitely contact John and Jane again!! We recommend to all. They also have a first floor rental (also very beautiful) if you are averse to stairs.

John & Jane are fantastic hosts. The apartment is terrific, the location is convenient and the advice on dinner, transit, etc. was 'spot on'. I will definitely be staying there again.
