Plumeria Cottage

We stayed two months with our three and one year old kids. Renting the Plumeria Cottage has been the best choice we could have made.

As in the description the house is fully equipped, very clean, with a very nice garden and it is located next to a natural beach of the North Shore in a very friendly neighborhood. Every morning and every night we were sitting at the wonderful Lanai and could see and hear the ocean from there. We spotted many turtles and even whales at the beach.

The owners were very friendly and a big help at any time. Ryan and Casey made the cottage our home away from home, and they made us feel like 'locals'.

We will recommend this cottage to our friends and would recommend it to everybody: Young and old couples, family with kids of any age, as well as singles and adventure seekers. This piece of paradise is just amazing!

Plumeria Cottage was as described and pictured in the photos. Cottage was clean and beds were comfortable. Kitchen contained all you would need and the gas grill was wonderful. We grilled almost every night. Would recommend the Waialua Farmers market on Saturday morning for fresh vegetables and fruits. While at the market be sure to take in the North Shore Soap factory. Eating on the lanai and hearing the ocean (seeing the ocean during the day) was a treat. We enjoyed our Stand Up Paddleboard lessons with Rainbow Watersports and went back a second day to rent paddleboards and go out on our own. North Shore Shark Adventures was a one time activity. Saw many sharkes. Take a walk to the far west end of the island to see albatros and monk seals. Don't miss Opel Thai by Long's Drugs. Not only great Thai food but an experience in and of itself. All easy to reach from the cottage. Would definately recommend the cottage and this location to friends and family. Nice to be away from the crowds of Honolulu and Wikiki. Ryan is friendly, informative but never intrusive. Thanks for all the good suggestions and advice.

My husband and I stayed here for a week and absolutely loved it! The listing description and photographs of the property are accurate. The cottage is clean and very well maintained. The owners were quick to respond to all my questions. I would recommend this property without hesitation to family and friends. It's a perfect location on the North Shore. Just a couple minutes to Haleiwa Town, restaurants and shrimp trucks. With a car, you can get virtually anywhere on Oahu for day trips and we did. We spent time visiting the Windward side, Leeward side, Honolulu, Waikiki, museums, gardens and beaches. We made the short drive to Kaena Point. The last couple of miles are by foot or bike. Out on the point are resting seals and nesting albatross. The cottage was such a peaceful place. We really enjoyed having breakfast on the porch every morning. It was very relaxing to have a view of the sea from the porch as well as the living room. This is the perfect place if you're looking to be in the heart of the North Shore. The only good thing about leaving Plumeria Cottage is that I won't have to do any research on where to stay on our next trip back! From Paula and Dan, thank you Ryan, Casey and Glynnis!
