Small, quaint and charming

We stayed here a few weeks ago for several days and really enjoyed it. The rooms are a bit small and it only has one bathroom, but those flaws were made up by its quaint charm and its proximity to the beach. The back patio was a great place to relax in the evening once things had cooled down, the beds were comfortable, the yard was very nice - especially the old oak tree - and the A/C worked very well! In July, on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, that is not a commodity to be overlooked.
Aside from the cottage itself, Bay St. Louis offers a lot historical richness and charm. Literally, the town never moves! If you're looking for peace and quiet (and we were), you won't find any spot that will serve that purpose any better than BSL.
Lastly, if you are an older couple, or a family of 3 or 4, the residence is ideal. I could see where it would feel crowded with much more than that, however. All-in-all, it provided my wife and I with a relaxing vacation and we would absolutely stay here again.
