If tennis is your game: Racquet Park has 23 Har-Tru fast dry clay courts. The courts are adjacent to the health and fitness center and are the site of a WTA Championships each April. There are Pros available for lessons and they can be contacted through the Racquet Shop, which also has rental equipment.
On the Plantation there are several places to eat. Marche Burette and the Falcon's Nest are great for a casual meal or an ice cream. The Ocean Grill and the Verandah are right there for more of a fine dining experience. There are shops with something for everyone, including some designer items, right near the lovely full service Spa.
Whether you choose to visit Amelia Island for relaxation or for non-stop activity, you will find it the perfect place for your family to enjoy time together!
Golf: The Plantation offers championship golf 4 on-site courses, each designed to take advantage of the natural setting. There is an additional nearby golf course, also owned by the Plantation. At some times of the year there is a Junior Golf Program as well as a Family golf program available. The pro shop is well-equipped to meet all your golfing needs.
