Condo, 2 Bedrooms + Loft, 2 Baths, (Sleeps 6)

Coquina Beach is a Sanibel 40-unit, Gulf-front complex with tennis, pool, picnic area, and barbecue grills. This unit features two bedrooms plus a spiral staircase to the second-floor loft.

Coquina Beach is centrally located on Middle Gulf Drive. Just a short drive to your favorite Sanibel locations such as Sanibel's historic lighthouse, art galleries, golf courses, fine or casual dining, and shopping.

Long considered a mecca for shell collectors, Sanibel is also known for its wildlife. Two thirds of Sanibel is part of the Ding Darling Wildlife Refuge with its lagoons, exotic tropical plants, alligators, manatee's, and a wide variety of birds.

And, the populated areas of the island are quite different from what you will find elsewhere in Florida. There are no traffic lights or neon signs on Sanibel. Come to Sanibel to truly get away from it all.

The condo was clean and comfortable, but somewhat worn. Several kitchen drawers were broken and lighting was poor. The pool area was beautiful and a nice place to sit. Proximity to the beach was great. Someone in another unit close by was smoking cigars and we could not use the deck /porch area often because of the overwhelming smell of cigar smoke. Parking was tight, and someone had barking dogs that they left alone for long periods of time. We had a relaxing vacation but would probable choose a different place to stay if we returned.

Perfect location within a few steps of the beach. Near grocery stores and restaurants. Plenty of room to stretch out with everything you need in the kitchen. Washer and dryer in condo a big plus.

We were lucky enough to stay here during XMAS 2011. The unit and complex are wonderful. Well furnished, clean and we had plenty of space. The kids loved the loft. We have rented numerous places through VRBO but Maribeth was the best owner we have dealt with. We can't wait to go back to Sanibel and we definately will be staying here! Thanks Maribeth.
