A full remodel with all brand new furnishings. granite counters, bamboo floors, flat screen and stainless appliances was completed in spring of 2008. Shawnee Street is located 5 miles from Sierra at Tahoe, 30 miles from Kirkwood and 7 miles to Tahoe's beaches. miles of mountain biking, cross country skiing, and hiking right from the house. Perfect Location!

We stayed in this cabin the first week of February this year and had a wonderful time. The home was immaculate and was close to everything necessary to entertain the family. Our girls especially loved the hot tub! This was the perfect place for our little family to spend quality time together and we hope to have the opportunity to stay here again!

Perfect little home!

I stayed in this property for 5 days with my wife and 2 small children. It was a nice house and was clean. Perfect for a small family in my opinion. There was a lot of snow in the backyard and plenty of room for the kids to play. Everything on the inside was new and very nice. The first day the hot water was not working well but the owner sent a plumber out the very next morning and fixed the problem. The owner obviously cares about the property and the occupants using it and that was very comforting. The property was in a nice, quiet neighborhood but was easily accessible and not to far from town and Lake Tahoe. I would definitely rent this property again and would recommend it to anyone!

The cabin was super nice in a very nice neighborhood. I wish the hot water worked a little better bc you really like a hot shower after a day of skiing. The kitchen was awesome! We are definelty staying here again.

This cabin was perfect for our little family to relax and enjoy the snow. Everything was available, from the kitchen to the bedroom. Even the hot tub was heated and ready to be used immediately. The transaction was easy and smooth. We received email instructions to everything we would need during our visit. I would definitely rent again given the opportunity.

Great Mountain Home

The Good: Very Clean & well Furnished. Quiet Neighborhood. Easy to get to. Comfortable beds. WiFi was easy to access. Cable TV had a good selection of Channels. Grocery store was close by. Well equipped kitchen.

The Bad: No instruction for operating the Fireplace and Jacuzzi. The Jacuzzi temp was 89 and it took 1 hour to get it heated to 97. The fireplace would not operate with the remote. The shower had hot water for a few minutes and than went cold. Not a problem for the bathroom and kitchen sink. Need to replace the broom. (Excellent for short people)
