Tucked away in private shaded surroundings only 4 blocks from downtown lies our 1924 Craftsman treasure completely redone for comfortable indoor outdoor living. Enjoy the benefits of both solitude and convenience biking or walking to galleries, movies, yoga, shops, library, spa, tennis, restaurants and the organic Farmer's Market.

House rental two week minimum (available from June 1 - September 15, 2013) Both bedrooms come with queen beds. One a Brookstone tempurpedic and the other the highly esteemed 'Heavenly bed' featured at the Westin Hotels. Other amenities include reverse osmosis water, instant hot water dispenser, 2 bicycles, wireless internet, cable, outdoor gas grill and outdoor dining among the apricot, orange, pomegranate trees.

I've stayed in this utterly charming property a number of times, and I am always eager to return! I love the life I live when I'm there, picking a fresh orange off one of the garden's several fruit trees for my breakfast, playing all day and then barbecuing in the private back yard at night under the clear Ojai night sky. Having two complete bedroom/bathroom suites makes perfect accommodation for two couples or for a family or for a retreat/reunion with friends. I've done the latter and we've had the best time, hanging out in the comfortably furnished living areas, sunning in the garden, walking to town, hiking in the hills, going to a spa, shopping, barbecuing at home or dining in one of Ojai's delicious restaurants, talking, and eventually falling asleep in the very comfortable beds... It feels like home because it is so comfortable and it feel likes vacation because it is so perfect!
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Romantic Getaway

I loved staying here. It's quiet, cozy and lovely inside. The rooms aren't HUGE but the living room and dining area are the perfect size for entertaining and/or socializing with friends. Having wireless internet is a real plus and being able to get up in the morning and just walk into town is perfect. I had a good nights rest each night I was there which is rare for me! I highly recommend this home and the people who own it are so nice and warm and friendly, its a good vibe!
