Let me just say that the final bill we paid was way more than it's worth. It was nice, but not as grand as it sounds. It's rather misleading.
A lot of those rooms are more for children. Also, the pictures show the king bedroom twice (the same room with diff. bedspreads, so be aware). The pictures are very outdated. We can tell because the couch is different, the trees around the pool are grown and some other things. This place could certainly use a paint job. The paint is chipped everywhere.
Now, we had some issues where the maintaince/cleaning people needed to show up ASAP and they did. I just wonder why if they're showing up so quickly why there is dust all over every vent (hanging down) in the house. I also wonder why the underside of the patio furniture by the pool is so very dirty and moldy? These are things that should be done monthly or once a season and make a world of difference. Also, when maintaince did show up they told us they would be back with a different mattress on Monday, and we had to call Tuesday to get them back out there. They told us on Tuesday that they'd be back on Wednesday with sweeper bags and they never did come back.
As far as the pool, appliances, distance to beach, porch, et cetera, it was great. The view of the beach, not so much. You can see it at one spot from two locations and that's about it. The deer do walk right up to you and eat out of your hand. It was a great view of the golf course.
There is no main bathroom, other than to use a bedroom bath. Also, the one ad said they have a pool table and there was none. Very disappointed with that.
Overall, we had a great trip, but when we go next year, we will take our chances with another house. If these things are of no bother to you, then go for it. You will enjoy yourself over and above all these other issues. Just remember, you can really sleep eight (in four beds) upstairs and mostly kids in all the bunks downstairs, and then one extra queen downstairs.
As far as the beach and the other pools, the beach was great. THe other pools, there is one called the sandbar. They have and adult only pool with a bar. One day they were closed. Then the next day it rained until noon, and we had to call the main activity center on the island and they said because "it looked like all day rain" that they closed for the whole day, so from noon on it was sun and they weren't there. Dont' count on them being there :(

Owner's Response: I want to thank the guest for their review. This helps us keep up with our postings for this property. I have it listed on several websites, so I can forget which listings have current pictures and data. I am fixing the posting problems: re: remove listing of pool table (it should never have been there), remove one picture, and update all of the other pictures because we added a new dining table and chairs and new bunk bed. We also added a new beautiful headboard for the queen bedroom upstairs. And added slipcovers to the living room sofa.
We have the house listed to sleep 13, but we will add in the description more details on bedding arrangements to help future guests in planning. The upstairs has 4 couple bedrooms and there is 1 couple bedroom downstairs. The other bedroom downstairs is designed for kids with two sets of bunks.
We do pressure wash our pool furniture in May and September, but if it is needed mid-season, then we certainly will schedule an additional clean. I'll have that done this weekend.
We try to keep our home well maintained and will always rectify a problem as soon as possible.
