False Horizons' is a two-story large-scale, bright and cheerful wooden house that invites you to relax and dream. It has four bedrooms (three up, down one) comfortably accommodate a double or twin beds and fitted wardrobes and can accommodate eight or nine people.
All rooms are generously cut and quality but also comfortable.
On the first floor a sun room overlooks the bay and the mountains. From here it is possible to fine the whales in the bay watching. This room leads directly into a bright spacious living room connected to a dining room (8 places). This looks at the terraced garden typical of Cape Town. One enjoys a fireplace in the living room On windy, chilly days.
The open kitchen is modern and well equipped, with everything you can expect from a good kitchen (including a large refrigerator and freezer, a large cooker (electric) with oven, a microwave and a dishwasher).
On the first floor there are two bathrooms (one with shower, the other with bath / shower), including each toilet. On the ground floor there is another bathroom (with shower and toilet). All bathrooms have good water pressure.
The ground floor is a large open space, with large glass doors (in the front garden leader). The sleeping area (double bed) is easily separated, then to a living space, then (which leads into the garden) to a kitchen. All the facilities are new and modern.
The large sheltered garden has a lawn and is otherwise in terraces. Our kids call him the adventure garden. The front garden (lawn) has a table with benches and a large grill (everything can be accommodated in the rear garden).
The house has a double garage. In this there is also a washing machine.

The house is ideal for families or groups. There is ample space and retreat opportunities and a lot of garden space. But for couples, it is cozy and invites you to relax and enjoy yourself. Near the house there are a variety of hiking and mountain bike trails. Simon's Town and the neighboring places have all sorts of water sports and a variety of restaurants, bars and shops. All types of cyclists enjoy the challenges and unique landscapes.

Glencairn is a quiet place, with beautiful views, a shop, other shops and a few restaurants, bars, a spa, sports facilities and many wonderful hiking trails and mountain bike trails through the hills. It is a perfect location for mountain bikers, hikers, surfers (or kitesurfing) and other water sports enthusiasts and for families. Two mountain bikes are available as well as various games and play opportunities for children.
Glencairn is one of Simon's Town, famous for its penguins and the Simon's Town Waterfront with its many restaurants and shops, and the naval port. Simon's Town waterfront is accessible (car) in a few minutes.
Kalk Bay invites you to stroll and browse a, with numerous cafes, restaurants, interesting shops and an active fishing port.
Irresistible is Cape Point, with its pristine unique landscape. Cape Point is reached (car) in a few minutes.
A path leads from Glencairn to Cape Town city center, otherwise reachable in about 35 minutes by car.
