While sunbathing on a private patio, you can watch your toddlers at the state-of-the-art playground (safety engineered, with foam-cushioned flooring), wave to your teens on the basketball or volleyball courts beyond, or take pictures of your friends riding the ocean waves or perhaps fishing from the pier. With no boardwalk, your patio practically touches the sand, yet sits comfortably away from the activity. All you hear outside are the sweet sounds of the ocean waters. Later, you can have everyone meet at the Jacuzzi® or the heated swimming pool, all enclosed within the secure building and all nestled within a lovely tropical garden. Linens, all towels, beach chairs, and even boogie boards are available for your use. Make use of outdoor BBQ grills (gas), and try working out in the exercise gym. On day two, try taking a seven mile walk along an undeveloped beach to the historic Hotel Del Coronado, or rent bikes to tour the mansions along the way.

The estuary and bird preserve just a few blocks away offer guided tours of precious treasures of nature. Shop at local markets to prepare your meals in a kitchen that has everything you need (right down to the coffee bean grinder), or dine out at the full service restaurant on the 1st floor of this 42 unit building. You may prefer to simply order breakfast, lunch and dinner, and eat out on your private patio. At the end of the pier, you'll find a nice restaurant and live performances by local artists. Spend romantic evenings taking advantage of the massage table and oversized bath tub in the master suite. (Professional massage therapists offering instruction for couples may be reserved by advanced request.) A short drive will take you to exquisite golf courses, elaborate outlet and shopping malls, water parks, concert halls, and all the attractions of San Diego. Lowes Resort (a three mile walk) offers dancing and unique gondola rides through the Coronado Cays.

This may be one of your few remaining opportunities to vacation directly on the beach in a quiet, relaxed, secure and elegant condo resort, away from the noisy crowds of Mission Beach.

We've been leasing condo's and houses for several yrs alone the coasts of Fl and all over the gulf. We've never been so disapointed. We stayed during a heat wave and arrived late in the evening. We were met and given the keys. An hr after our arrival the a/c wasn't working the condo was miserablely hot and humid. The mngr. told us it would be repaired in the am and to open the windows for the sea breeze. Very small windows and not much help. That was sept 2. the day before the labor day holiday we were offered to move to another unit but we'd have to move back after a day because of a previouse rental. We found if we left the front and back door open, we could keep the apt bearable, but it took one person to cook and another to swat the flys, not very appetizing. We spent much of our time hunting restraunts. I have had one other experience with a/c in Hollywood, Fl. we were offered a room in a local hotel, but the breeze there was comfortable and we just stayed the day it took to get it repaired. Our vacation here was ruined by lack of sleep, and loss of family time we had ment to spend together, cooking and relaxing. Even if the a/c is repaired you want to be aware on a holiday weekend at least the park between you and the ocean will completely fill with families and tents from day light until dark, and your view of the ocean will be over that if you care to go outside and be stared at. I don't think I'll use this service again. Generally we go thru RCI or deal directly with owners and have always enjoyed our stays. Apparently there is no recourse with this type of mgnment.
