About this property

My husband and I bought this building in December 2017 to turn into a pet friendly TLF. We PCS'd into Whiteman in 2011 (for the 2nd time), and we knew there was a demand! We have a rescue dog (plus one) and two rescue cats, and we know how hard it can be to keep our animals with us during a PCS. We put a lot of love into the transformation from an office building to a place we hope feels like home! Please contact us for extended stay discounts.

Nice, clean, little home, just off the highway. Very convenient to base, shopping, and food. Not too far from airport either. Thank you for having us!!

This stay was a first for me renting a house instead of a motel room and I was very pleased that I went this route. Very cute house and super clean, stocked with almost everything we could need. Easy access for a family member with mobility issues. All in all a very good experience.

Wonderful stay near Whiteman AFB

Very much enjoyed our stay. It was a beautiful home with modern appliances. Easy to access entry. WiFi was wonderful. The house pics make it seem smaller than it is. It’s very spacious and has a nice beach theme throughout. Will stay again when we visit our loved one in the AF. Very clean and modern. Thank you for allowing us to stay.

Clean & Cozy

This is the perfect little place to stay in while visiting family at Whiteman AFB. Very clean and up to date. It has everything you need and the host was great!

About the host

My husband retired from the Air Force in August 2016 after 23 years in service. We have one son, two dogs, two cats, and way too many fish. My husband is currently a Realtor, and I am working on getting my license. We lived in the Warresnburg area from 1992 to 1999, and we came back for round two in 2011. I was a student at what is now called UCM when we met in 1995. Originally from the east coast (him) and Nebraska (me), we have been here long enough to know the area well. Why they chose this property

We bought this property as a foreclosure. It was previously the office of a gutter installer. We knocked down and/or moved a wall or two along the way to hopefully turn it into a home away from home. We understand the emotional roller coaster caused by a PCS, and we hope to make your transition either to or from Whiteman a little easier. We live about ten minutes from the property, so please reach out if you need something.

What makes this property unique

The Spirit walking trail between Warrensburg and Whiteman Air Force base is right out our front door. We are within a mile of the Knob Noster state park. If you're looking for a place close to Whiteman AND Warrensburg, this is it.
