Country Retreat Home on 320 Acres This beautiful country retreat is located on a hill surrounded by 320 acres of fields and towering hardwood trees. The views are spectacular. None are more beautiful and relaxing on the back deck when the sun is coming up over the majestic hills on the eastern horizon. Peaceful ... even if you listen closely, you will not hear the sound of traffic or aircraft noise ... just pure nature. An evening drive down the Glade Top Scenic Trail, located 1/2 mile from the lodge, captures the beauty of nature and rugged terrain for which the Ozarks are most known. This 23 mile scenic trail, Missouri's only National Scenic Byway, is often referred to as the Jewel of the Mark Twain National Forest and has numerous picnic areas with restrooms. Twenty thousand acres of the magnificent Mark Twain National Forest border three sides of the property and the nearest neighbor is one mile away.

The PERFECT Get-Away for Church Groups!

As a youth pastor, I am always looking for retreat locations that is affordable, can accommodate medium-sized groups, is enjoyable for teens and set-apart from “distractions”. I have happily found all four at Fleming Farm. The location is ideal for our yearly Prayer Retreat, with its 300+ acres of rolling hills and further seclusion of being tucked into a National Forrest. The nearest neighbor (who owns 400+ acres) is a wonderful woman who also doubles as the unobtrusive care-taker for this property. Nearby lakes, rivers and historical sites also serve as accessible and fun destinations for day trips. The home was very clean and had every possible amenity; we only had to bring food and clothes. Our group had a blast and we are sure to be back!
