This wonderfully appointed 3000 square-foot, tri-level mountain home is complete with all new furnishings and a fully-equipped kitchen. Professionally decorated with a cozy mountain elegance, this beautiful upscale home is located just outside the historic Sierra Town of Truckee, California. The home offers two master suites, forested views of the Tahoe Donner Golf Course (on the 17th hole), an equipped office, a spacious, furnished redwood deck with a gas barbecue, and Jacuzzi. Guest passes offer access to swimming, tennis, golf, the fitness center and saunas, and equestrian trails. There's plenty of summer hiking and biking or winter skiing to be done at any of six major downhill ski resorts, located within 15 minutes. There are over 90 kilometers of cross-country ski trails too. Truckee, North Lake Tahoe cities, and Reno offer great nightlife, restaurants, and shopping. This vacation home is recommended for two families of up to five each, or perhaps a relaxed couples' getaway.

  • 'Swiss Lane at Tahoe Donner' has a maximum sleep occupancy of 10 although there are actually 13 sleep spots throughout the home. This includes a very comfortable family room sofa-bed. All rooms are beautifully decorated and impeccably maintained and have clock radios w/ CD stereo players. The two master suites have TVs with VCR and all bedrooms are equipped with extra linens and pillows, blankets and comforters. The home's layout works well for both social gatherings on the main level but also provides cozy quiet spaces if you'd prefer to kick-back and just relax with a good book.

Notes: SLTD's rear redwood deck has a complete set of patio furniture and furnishings (summer only) and offers a great forested view of Tahoe Donner's golf course (17th hole). Guests have access to all Tahoe Donner amenities and recreational activities with guest passes located at SLTD. There is a slight daily access charge for use of these facilities. SLTD has a full laundry room with washer, gas dryer and supplies. An ironing board and iron are also provided in the laundry room as well as cleaning supplies for quick clean-ups. SLTD has plenty of storage throughout for your personal items and equipment. The kitchen is very well stocked with basic condiments, utensils, dinner and cookware. We tried to think of everything you'd need to make your stay as easy and relaxed as possible.

Absolutely gorgeous, very clean and comfortable home. Fully equipped is an understatement - this house is VERY well appointed (dishes, pots & pans, basic staples, sheets, towels, etc). You could host Thanksgiving dinner here! Nice attention to privacy in the room setup -- good for two families or several couples traveling together. LOTS of stairs, make sure everyone traveling with you is in good physical condition (challenging with toddlers)! We were there in winter so didn't use the lake facilities, but easy access to Truckee and the ski resorts, and lovely view from the back deck and hot tub.

More than several return year after year and for all seasons...that pleases us greatly.
