The Cleopatra Condo is a romantic, ocean side, two-bedroom unit with accommodations for four. Recently we added white plantation shutters throughout the condo plus a heavenly new king size bed with canopy and the best mattress we could purchase. It also has a queen size bed with a luxurious pillow-top mattress. If needed, the coach is also a queen-size sleeper. The unit has a private outside, second-level access, DVD, four phones and stereo.

The condo combines nautical themes with pines and spicy color scheme of eggplant, sage, and rust, with plush white carpets. The Cleopatra floor-plan utilizes a spacious Great Room concept with a marble fireplace. From the dining area there is a view of the swimming pool, and the sounds of the ocean can be heard from the living room area. (Often you can hear sea lions barking at night and the waves can sound like a train coming through if the waves are up).

If you decide to go out you'll find many choices available to you - world-class golfing, beautiful beaches, boating, restaurants, and shopping can all be found nearby.

Nearby Attractions Disneyland (40 minutes north)...Knotts Berry Farm (40 minutes north)....Legoland (35 minutes south).....Sea World San Diego (1 hour south)....Aquarium of the Pacific (40 minutes north)......Universal Studios (1 hour north)

About Betha

My husband and I purchased this condo becasue we love Dana Point so much. It was a wonderful opportunity becasue finding this special location is very rare. It has ocean views so when this condo came up,for sale in 1999 we were very fortunate to purchase it. Our children lived in this area and each time we came to Orange County to visit them, we fell in love with the area. We only have one grandson which is shown in the picture above. We love it here, the weather is the best in the United States.

This condo is located on the front of the complex of Niguel Beach Terrace and has panoramic ocean views from the front and plus on the other side it has pool view. It gives you the feeling of being in a resort. My guests love this location so much they come happy and leave happy wo what more could I ask .. If they are happy, I am happy.

What makes this condo unique

It is jsut across from the public beach access to the beach and also by the walking trails that go all around the beach from the Headlands above. The trails are so beautiful for your walks up and down thte beach or all around the Headlands. The beach is unique and desirable as being the most romantic beach in Southern Calfironia. . You can watch the sunset each night from the living room. Cleoaptra has a king and a queen and sofa bed if needed.. It is light and bright plus it has wonderful ocean breezes and salt air that blows right across the living room area.

The condo is perfect for a family of 4 but does sleep 6. The beach is stunning and so close - just a short walk and your there! You can see both the ocean (front window) and the pool (back window) from the condo living room. So So quiet!!! Perfect for a picky sleeper. The people around are very respectful and noise is practically non-exsistant. Kitchen had everything we needed and more. Rooms had lots of closet and drawer space. It was pretty clean. There are a few decorations small children may be tempted to touch (mine are both over 9yrs and were just amused). Condo owners were such lovely people and were just a phone call away if needed (I forgot the condo code, had to call after 10:00, they were so sweet about it). My kids want to make this vacation a yearly event. We felt so lucky to have such a great place in such a beautiful location!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Cleopatra rental......As others had stated, everything has been thought of, and the owner made sure we were comfortable and welcomed. Since we were a short notice rental, the owner made every effort to make the payment transaction easy for us. We are grateful to her for that, and for the comfort and privacy we had while visiting. The area is upscale and beautiful. Lots of good golf nearby, and convenient to other areas of Orange and San Diego Counties.....Really enjoyed it!

Dana Point Condos are Excellent

We had a great time staying at the Dana Point Properties in Dana Point CA while my little girl attended the Endless Summer Surf Camp in San Clemente. The amenities were perfect for our family, my older children enjoyed the ambiance of the condo, the nearby pool, and of course the beach right across the street. The location was just minutes from Laguna, San Clemente and was nearby all kinds of convenience stores. My children all stood up on surf boards and had a great time at the camp. Everything I needed was in the condo, from paper towels and toilet paper, to kitchen equipment, silverware, and detergent. I only had to buy food. Think I save money on the fact that I didn't have to eat out every day. Shopping nearby was convenient. My condo was neat, clean, and had TV, internet, good ventilation with fans and windows open, and my landlord couldn't have been nicer! I almost don't want to share my opinions about this to keep it a secret, but I guess I just have to let others know how nice it was!
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

People love to surf here. Those surfers have so much fun every day of the year on that Strand Beach and Salt Creek Beach too. They never tire of surfing it seems; it is such a popular and healthy sport..

Excellent condo with everything a family would ever need. Condo was very clean and a short walk down steps or a vehicular railway to a great beach that I walked on every morning. Dana Point is a nice place and a great place to explore the wider area.

We just stayed and this condo has everything and I mean everything you could need/want and then some! Nicely decorated, soft blush linens, towels, beach towels, chairs, games, books, appliance all top of the line....better than staying at the Ritz and didn't think there was any better! Nice pool with jaquzzi, grounds well maintained....you just cant find anything wrong...such a beautiful location, just walk down the stairs and a few steps away you are at the beach! We loved it and will come back again....Every attention to detail is covered...just bring your clothes
