There are breathtaking views in all directions for viewing or photographing. The home is seven miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway and seven miles from the National D-Day Memorial. The Peaks of Otter Winery which makes 'Fruit of the Farm Wine' is located on the farm. Nearby, you can find fast food and gourmet restaurants.
The rambling 19th-Century farmhouse is furnished as if someone stepped out in the 1930's or 40's, yet it has all the modern conveniences of home. The farmhouse is completely furnished to
accommodate groups, families, and couples. The home has five bedrooms and sleeps up to 14 guests. Three of the bedrooms each have two double beds, one bedroom has two bunk beds (four beds), and another bedroom has a single bed and a twin baby bed. The house also has a living room, dining room, two bathrooms, and plenty of porches for sitting. The fully-equipped kitchen has a dishwasher, coffee maker, microwave, dishes, and pots and pans.
The home also has a washer/dryer, phone, TV, and a VCR. Linens and towels are provided.
The property has a children's playhouse, barbecue grill, horseshoes, and a seasonal farm store. It also has creeks for wading, and ponds for fishing.
Controlled pets and smoking are allowed.

Rates: Weekly $500.00 base, plus $50.00 for each person or pet. Winter week-end getaway, $250.00 base, plus $25.00 for each person or pet.
Golf:
$250 Deposit required. One half due 30 days prior to arrival and the rest due upon arrival plus taxes. Our week runs from 3:30 p.m. Monday until 9 a.m. Monday. Week-ends run from Friday p.m. until 9 a.m. Monday, November thru April, and other times not rented for the week.
